44 hours. 2400 miles. 8 gallons of pure caffine. (also known as /BurstDrive)
A few things that I learned along the way:
- There are actually places with the following names
- Vanderblatt Stadium (i know....it's not that funny...unless it's like 5am and you haven't slept yet)
- Fifth Third Field (all one word...I don't get it)
- Mooreheadsville (Kinda wanna move...)
- Crackenpipe (i made that one up)
- If you're speending, always encourage and make it easier for other to speed faster than you. You never know when there will be a cop a 1/4 mile ahead and they'll get caught, not you.
- People in the west are tactical experts. They refuse to give information to the enemy by never using turn signals, and often engage in disinformation by using turn signals...on the wrong side.
- People in the west also like driving off road more than on road. you can't find a spot between jackson and iowa where there's 10 feet of grass in the median that hasn't been driven on.
- Sleet SUCKS.
- so does wind.
- i love the fishes 'cause they're so delcious. Gone goldfishing.
- if you come across a food joint called "Road Rangers Pizza"...it's an accurate sign. The pizza tastes like it's made with asphalt dough and topped with Fur-Cle onions that've gone bad, cheese made of leathery hide and meats that were harvested off a diseased vrelt...during a bad shift.
Okay, so I'm back. What'd I miss?

Well not much really. Just get in the CU and help up make ranger what it should be.
As far as the Fifth Third Field I can shed some light on that. Fifth Third is a bank. Back in the 1920's Fifth National Bank andThird National Bank combined to make 1 bank. The 2 name options they had were Fifth Third or Third Fifth. Due to unfortunate timing this took place during the prohabition (spellcheck please)era. So Third Fifth didn't make the cut. They are the bank that my owrk goes through and I'd thought I'd ask about the name because who wants to bank at an improper fraction.

Welcome back.
Well, the CU beta is up and running. There are very mixed feelings on many portions of it. Ranger seems to be in worse shape.

yeah, if I heard right, we don't get the health bonus? Expect many angry posts about this when I have the time.

Welcome back
You're right about the health bonus, at least as far as we can tell. Still focusing testing on the novice experience for now, so none of us have made it to ranger to find out.
So, how long was your stay in Mooreheadsville and Crackenpipe?

- To sum up the major points:
- Battle armor certs are placed throughout the ranger tree (but we're still not a "combat" profession)
- Combat Medics get their own special pistol at the master box (but we're still not a "combat" profession - good precedent set for our ranger weapon though)
- Riflemen have been given the ability to remove themselves from radar (aka "ranger stealth")
- Calc turned Bothan for a day (april 1st)
So, how long was your stay in Mooreheadsville and Crackenpipe?

Goddamn phenix, thats serious driving!!
Last time i was in the U.S. I did drive, but you can usually see clips of me on "Worlds Wildest Police Chases"! Im the guy going "What the colonials drive on theright too, I thought just those Europigs did that? And I have enough trouble looking for the gearstick on this big fecker!".
But the concealed carry permit gives the smokeys something to think about!!!
They say "Who are you?"
And im so tempted to say "The names Bond, james Bond! Just forget the name on my driving licence!"
Nearly as good as going through immigration in Australia and saying "Criminal record? I didnt think you still needed one?" (Rubber Glove time - urgh!).
Edit here - I should point out that 5 hrs gets me from the tip of my little island back to the top again! (thats 400 miles I guess, best i did was 130miles in 1 hr 15 mins my clutch and exhaust fell off! - still got a bloody ticket from a robot camera though!)
Once I got caught by the Garda (Irish police) doing 105 mph on there roads, 5 mins from the border. I was so tempted to go full throttle over the border, handbrake to a stop, leap out, stick the middle finger out, and scream "Up yours, you 3rd world wankers, this is UK soverign territory, haha!". But I didnt, they stopped me, gave me a ticket and said "Now be sure to pay that!". I went "Yeah right, sure no probs!", they laughed and I was very circumspect in about driving to my holiday home in Donegal (NW ireland) after that. Thank god the gardia only come round the pubs at last orders for a couple themselves in that part of the woods!!
Or perhaps it was my ranger camo and lack of krettles that saved me from them!!

Welcome back spud.
Now, never mind all the slep and catching up stuff, get in TC now and start ripping this thing apart.
I can't imagine being able to drive that far. Where I live, I'm never more than an hour from the sea, town I used to live in, if you went up the church spire you could see both east and west coasts...
