I don't remember getting XP one way or another for camo/mask scent on Test. As all my templates included Master Ranger, I didn't think much about it. However, now that the CU is live, I'm driving around my Artisan who's at 4010 Scout, and he's getting no XP for Mask Scent. I checked, and he is in no way maxed out on his Scout XP.

Was this ~~nerfed~~ removed?

Hehe. I figured out the trick. Open a econd browser. In your original browser copy your post, hit submit to get the the "Page not found" screen, then refresh, paste in your post and hit submit again.

Mwahahaha!

Someone mentioned in another thread that the maskscent messages now show up in your combat spam, so it maybe you are just not seeing them as system messages anymore.

Which would be the simple answer. I noticed that when I was sneaking around *NDA* creatures, I didnt get the message until I was under 15 meters from them. That might be just limited to... that place though.

Watch it be open Beta now, and I look like a fool!

Yeah, I figured out the combat thing *after* I posted.

I could still stand *right* on top of something and get no XP, or I'd have to stand there 5, 10, 15 seconds. At which point it'd pop, and then they'd attack me anyway.

I did notice I'm getting an amazingly high amount of XP, though--under Mask Scent, large sevorrts give around 250 and giant womp rats give 350. Under camo, *Nightsister Elders* gave me 200 and Spidercave Clan Elders gave me 318. o.O

And weid about the maskscent. On TC the other night level 52 creatures were only giving me 72 points of xp. I need to go home and log on now!

yup, mask scent XP is pretty good, and harvest XP is great and pretty consistent. Still a lot of things to avoid and skin to get 1,000,000 scout XP for Master Ranger now tho...

I believe it registers in the combat tab not spatial unless you modify that tab.

To be honest, i have no problem with it if getting XP from doing Mask Scent was removed. It just seems they're turning us into a combat profession (FINALLY!!!!) and this is one change that'll show that'll make it all combat again. I'm not really stressed either way though.

By the way, they're fixing the fact that it breaks when entering combat, and they're going to fix /conceal soon. Perhaps we'll see it upgraded to be a camo skill too? I don't know, but I can hope.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Harvest xp is more than great. It's freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I blew away some Gualama's on Naboo yesterday for practice...normally I would get around 300 xp before CU, now..I'm getting 1300+
