Ideas for new things are positive and good for discussion but I'm hoping we start posting new stradegies, guides and ideas on how to use what's in the game and give our wish lists a little break. Lets figure this new system out and work together. Lets have FUN!!! wohooooo...

I won't be respec'ing anything in Ranger.
Instead I'll be taking advantage of the Double XP week to work my way back up the whole profession for the sake of writing a guide or two.
Right now, Conceal will be going into live not working, camps will have little to no viability either. Areatrack hasn't changed much, but aspects of the Trapping line will need looking at.

I like the way you think Jaxus. A key element in being a rangeris the ability to adapt to the ever changing environments presented him/her? We are a thinking profession. We use stategy and tactics to accomplish the task at hand.

actually, don't write off camps QUITE yet... with the massive changes to Doc, camps (at least imho) just got a LOT more useful in that they are one of the only ways to get rid of wounds, especially with it being so hard to find a doc online right now. Tried to take on a CL85 Sith Pirate solo, he pretty much got me down where it was gonna be me or him, and my shot missed, and his didn't... so I got to see the cloner on Dath. Wheee!
101 BF, 100 wounds. Headed out of the Science outpost about 400m, got to the top of a nice hill, wiped out the flyers around there, and popped a HTFB. Oh, what a view. I actually enjoyed it, healed up my wounds, chatted in guildchat and shared knowledge with a couple folks in the guild who didn't know what was going on, then headed back in to the outpost and off to Theed to get my BF healed in the cantina.
So, with many Docs leaving due to the changes in their profession, camps are looking to be a lot more viable at this point, if for no other reason than folks will be taking more wounds and needing to get healed, and if you're on a long hunt or don't have a doc with you, there's no option to have novice medic and some Woundpack B's anymore to fix yourself up... so the camps are quite useful.

could not have said it better myself, lets work with what we have.
i did not think of your wounds healing in a camp faster than norm. woo hoo camps may have a use.
i actually like having to think before i blast away. before i had to because i never used buffs, but now i gotta think even more.
but i do miss my regular doc that i visited, we had great conversations.
