I was on tat last night killing banthas. When harvesting with a droid my harvest size per creature was greatly reduced. Harvesting hides myself with the radial menu yielding about 78 units. Using my 109 harvest droid I only collected 19 units.

Anyone else using their droid see this?

This is a bug that came in with the harvesting bonus patch. Are you in a group with another player? If so, the droid is still seeing the 20% harvesting reduction that used to be the penalty for grouping.

yes, that is definately a bug, submit it and let the devs know about it.

Maybe that explains the harvest penalty I got while grouped. I reported this in the Issues thread - fighting CL 72 tusk cats, I was averaging 440 units.

Ranger 4/0/4/0: 440 units

Then I grouped with a 4/0/0/0 Scout, and suddenly I was harvesting LESS than her!

Ranger 4/0/4/0: 295 units
Scout 4/0/0/0: 322 units

Now I don't remember if I harvested via droid. Have people otherwise seen a penalty while grouping?

Also I noticed droids still only get 1 unit of harvest while indoors (ie in a dungeon.) I reported that in the Issues thread as well. In short, don't use the droid unless your outdoors and solo.

I was not grouped with another player and was not grouped with my droid. It just seems that droid harvesting is bugged right now.
