Thread: A new problem

We need more critters that are in the 60-80 range. Right now i'm having problems finding rangers to huntfor Naboo Bristly or Dantooine wooly, probably be the same as any other hide, because they get no xp for there time killing critters. With the new level system anythingwith a lower level u only get 1 xp. There is no more incentive for rangers, as most only picked it upso they can make a little moneyon the side when they do the FS grind.

Are anyone else here thinking the same way to?

I was thinking the same thing. I am hoping they will do some adjusting to the xp for critters 60-80. Granted tho, that we do get a generous amount of xp for harvesting but you right. Getting 1xp for fighting tons of gurrecks is annoying. Hope they fix it... :/

Why doesnt the forums like Firefox anymore?

IMO Endor, Dath and Yavin should be filled to the brim with level 70-80+ mobs. Ive been to these planets and they dont seem balanced at all.

I just tried to tap lairs of Mamien on Yavin they were around lvl 16 and after shooting at the lair the spawn was still lvl 16. Or am I wrong with what I think to tap means?

You've looked in the mission terminals? Terminals outside of noob towns should generate a lair with standard missionable creatures blown up to level X. So for Dant wooly you should be able to get Huurton missions that give you xp if you can take them out.

Wandering around looking for things to hunt for experience is currently a thing of the past. You need to mission.

As much as it pains me to say this, the answer may lie in running missions. Inoticed last night that while gurks in the wild were in the 25-38 or so range, depending on type, a level 78 gurk mission yielded (you guessed it) level 78 gurks.

I don't like it. I hate running missions and when I hunt for crafters, I actually hunt. I don't seek and destroy whatever may be waiting for me at a waypoint.

There still is some XP gain in Scouting for harvesting. Personally I agree that more creatures need to naturally spawn in the 60- 80 range - but what alot of people don't realize is that when you ocme across a naturally spawning lair you can force a spawn of higher CL by tapping it.

I was wandering around Dant last night and came across a Piket laier that was spawning CL 30 natural creatures. After finishing the first batch I tapped the lair and a CL 64 (one level higher than my CL 63) spawned. The rest of the spawns from that lair were all CL 64. For Rangers, that means that finding natural spawns can be beneficial XP wise as well as hide wise.

I also think that revamping Hunting Terminals would be a good thing. (yeah shameless I know! )
