Thread: Had to drop all my ranger skills :-(

Header says it all really, I had to drop everything but novice ranger to get myself up to master rifleman, I was 3/1/3/4 ranger before my respec and thought I would have enough sp to reallocate into rifles and leave trapping alone, meaning that only 1 kind of xp would be needed to get to master (allbeit LOADS of it). Sadly they changed things to respec points rather than standard sp so I had to lose the lot.
So far this is the only thing I am not liking about the Combat Upgrade, the rest is more than fine for me (I trust we are all sensible enough here to not warrent me needing a fire-proof suit over that comment hehe)

Huh? What else are you then? Because if you had already been a Master rifle what it shoudl have done was added the 4 Ranged support boxes automaticly(which it did to me). THen you were most likely unable to move due to negitive Skill points? All you had to do was drop enough skillpoints the noral way to get even.

Yup that was it, I was on my way up rifleman and saw this as a good way to get the mastery without all the grinding that had been boring me so much. I was sure that when I tested things in TC I had enough sp banked to cover me taking the rest of my rifle skills without having to get rid of any of the trapping branch as I knew this might be tricky to get again.
Now I have to get the lot again as all I have left is my novice ranger box 
I have loved the ranger stuff I have done so far but I am debating whether to drop it all and have a bash at something else while I have the chance to get a faster start at it, only being a casual player really I don't get the time to sit and grind away at things for hours on end so boost would be kinda nice

I think the OP was part way to M Ranger and part way to M Rifleman, same as I was. Easiest ones to get the xp to refill are the scout xp based ranger ones, so wise decision I say
course, I'm biased.
On another toon am not so lucky. He was 'just' below novice ranger before the CU and now it feels like he's got to scale Mount Improbable. Especially annoyed with him as I forgot to get him some armour and other bits na dbobs before the conversion, but hey, still time.
