Thread: Looking for a new places to go and question about mission terminals
I have been on Corellia since the start and am having trouble finding things to challenge me as a solo ranger. There are a few things that are super tough like the Sharnafs... I still can't take them down. Right now a 'humbaba' is a perfect fight to me. Sometimes I beat them and sometimes they incapacitate me (and then I beat them). I went into the swamp and found some nice creatures but they all seem to be BAF.
Can anyone suggest a place to try and what creatures are similar in difficulty to the humbaba? Either that or I really would love a tracking skill to help me to find them as targets. Back when bagerasets where a good fight I would just look through the mission terminal to find bageraset missions. But now all the missions are no challenge to me.
This leads to my second question: what factors influence what difficulty missions you get on the terminal. If I unequipped my rifle I get difficulty 5 missions and with my rifle I get 12's. Up to today I got 11's but I got the first of the sniping skills under rifleman and it went up to 12. I would like something a little bit harder.
Thanks in advance for any feedback and info!
When Corellia ceases to pose a challenge, Talus is a nice alternative before heading to the advanced planets. There are quite a few non-social mobs there that can be kited or soloed with realtive ease. Although wolf kimas are now faster, they still represent a good source of xp comparable to a humbaba. Tortons and torton bulls are even better xp, posing little risk to the solo ranger.
If you are finding all of this to be too easy, try hitting Dathomir. Young baz nitches are very easy at CL22. Giant baz nitches are still a joke at CL26. Finally, mutant baz nitches are also a good source of xp at CL33. I have yet to fight the malklocks (sp) but I have heard that they are pretty straightforward as well. Just take your time on Dathomir, and steer well clear of the mountain clan and their rancors.
The murra makes a lousy pet, though. It runs away from the fight, often dragging the target towards agressive critters.
I moved to Rori last night, dropped in to the main starport and wandered east to the Rebel encampment, then started working my way to the Imperial encampment. There are some decent fights to be had there...
