Thread: Attn: Antarian Rangers ACT 3 Needs Your Help

To all fellow Antarian Rangers throughout the universe:
We only have until Monday to complete Act 3 and make it count.
My challenge to you is to gather your troops and help rebels in your galaxies to complete this mission. It's time to take a break from harvesting and help the rebels secure another victory for the GCW.

I've tried 3 times to defend the research station and I die at the second wave everytime. The second and third attempt I had two other Rangers with me and we still got smoked, along with all the Rebel NPC's. We just didn't have the firepower the Stormtroopers did. I'm going to have to try to hirea groupcommandos to come along for me to finish this. I've wasted too much money on buffs and traveling back and forth to Dathamir to not finish this. Combat missions like this are sort of unfair for those of us how don't have combat professions. I imaigine commandos probebly found the mission to be quite simple.

Most people found the mission quite difficult. I managed to solo it without buffs or armor but that was mostly luck (and a touch of tactics). And I do mean mostly luck. A commando might be able to do it but it wouldn't be easy (they'd need full armor and probably buffs as well). The third wave is a LOT harder than the first two. The mission is designed to need a big group to finish it. You should be able to find people to help you, especially this weekend. Just ask around a bit.

I don't know if they fixed it, or if it was even broken. We had a group of 6 people, 3 of them had the mission (the factory part), and we were on Yavin. We failed all 3 missions, twice, each time on thethirdwave. We went back to the coordinator and got new mission for Endor and we beat all 3 missions in 1 try each. Go figure. You can probably find a guide to it over in the Game Guide forum that will help you out with it.

My mission was on Endor and I was using my master pikeman on scylla while buffed with a few crappy pieces of composite (spend all my money on stocking for WS :-/). I had no problem with the first 2 waves but the 3rd one kicked the hell out of me. I dont have a whole lot of friends since my guild is kind of dying out so if anyone wants to help me on the Scylla server my in-game name is Plopt.
