Has anyone else noticed that if you go back to the posts from last July, the content of the postsis pretty much the same ones that we have now?

We're a quiet bunch - maybe because we just deal shiat (mostly0 instead of screaming "NERF"!
Good things will come around the the DEV love will return.

Right Pithren. Good point. Wonder why that is? Hmmm.....
Maybe despite a year of clear and concise arguments, and having two of the best correspondents in the game, the Devs feel that we merit no attention. Not what was promised already, nor promising anything else. It's all too "daunting" for them. But they can fix NPC Junk Dealers.....and Image Designers. Thank God they fixed Image Designers. I was really worried that some Bolle Bol might see my yellow "U" shape on my Mon Cal head and try to mate with me or something. Or some Imperial might mistake it for a target.
Thank you TH! Where would we be without Image Designers! What were we thinking?!

I wish I could believe that, but I can't anymore. In the last couple of weeks, I've become so disillusioned and discouraged by the lack of dev support for the Ranger class. I've been a Master for six months, and for the first time, I've been seriously considering dropping to 0/0/4/0 and throwing those points to becoming Master Pistoleer. Only my sentimentality for the Master box has kept me from surrendering all those skills.
The first time it really hit me was with the notes that accompanied Publish 7. I scrolled down the list of professions that morning Pub 7 was active, hoping there would be some small concession to us. But the futility of it was obvious when I saw that we weren't listed as "Rangers" but as "Scouts/Rangers." That's when I understood that we are nothing more than a Scout with a slightly sharper knife. Last night was the breaking point when out hunting with friends, and I saw that one member of my group (with only enough Scout to get to MCH) was pulling 47 units of meat off a bolle bol. I was pulling 52. I'm a MR, and am getting only 5 more units than a MCH. It's one thing to know that MRs only get 33% more harvest than a MS, but it was rough to see the hard numbers on my screen.
Call it a crisis of faith, but I already find that I'm playing a lot less SWG than I'm known to. I know that SOE doesn't give a rat's patootie about the $100 I've spent in software and the $30 I shell out every month. But I'm tired of toughing it out, hoping that the devs will notice us.
