In Tatooine, there is a place called Mos Krayt... You may guess why.

There is a place north east on the map , its a POI , called the "Kryat Dragon Graveyard" not the skeleton, the graveyard.. Go here and go to the mouth of what is the canyon where the POI is located. Travel all the way down to the back of the canyon where you get the badge using area track as you go, if that doesn't find you one simply travel across the top of the hills all the way round the graveyard doing the same thing.. You will find one eventually.. Usually though it will have people attacking it because areatrack will only detect spawned creatures, but you might get lucky.

'Mos Kryat' is a player city I presume, and server specific as is the one on scylla close to the Kryat POI.

Okay here's what i have experienced...

Starting at the 'mouth of the Krayt Graveyard' (area before you head into the valley)

you could enter the valley and hopefully one will spawn inside there

just north of the valley, along the ridge they tend to spawn anywhere from 1000m from the 'mouth'

in the plains south of the valley for about 1-1.5k meters

I have found ancients just along the northern ridge of the mountain ranger about 2-3k south of the graveyard...they sit perched at the highest northern peak sometimes

But most of all, lately, you have to enter the valley (graveyard) for about 300 meters, then climb the northern ridgeline and just go over it...there will be another valley somewhat...they like to spawn in there as well...especially lately, when there aren't too many players around.

Remember, spawn rates haven't been figured out yet...so just you sitting around may not bring one out of hiding.

But being a ranger, the best opportunity (unless you stumble upon one-and thats alot of ground to cover) would be to hire your local ranger to track 'em for ya...

Good luck!

If your on the Bria server there are Krayt spawnsoccasionallon the edge ofOstium Vepres. It's really sparodic though, some days you'll get an ancient canyon spawn popping them out for hours, others there isn't one to be found for miles around.

We got ouselves 2 pearls, 9 armour segments and 11 identicle tissues from 4 dragons in a row the other day 8) (Off topic but I really wanted to share).

Sorry, I've seen Mos Krayt listed in all Tatooine maps. I though that city existed in all servers. Here are the thecoordenates aprox: 6100 4600 . You can also check the mountains between this wp and the "Kryat Dragon Graveyard" POI.

Well, Krayts used to be found all over Tatooine. Then player cities were added. Now you almost have to go to the graveyard area to have a chance of finding one. Oh well. Good luck with it.

Nowi's guide to finding a Krayt:

1. Travel to the Krayt Graveyard using the city someone built right next to it.

2. Use /areatrack to pin down the location of the krayt, and go there. (bring a ranger if you aren't one!)

3. Watch the group of people who are harvester exploiting to kill the krayt.

I've done this like a dozen times, it's no-fail.

In europe-inifinity galaxy, the only known area where Krayts spawn location (except once that spawn in ¿Mos Enta? Starport) is the one I mentioned. And I must say that there are more Krayts than some artisans taking care of their harverstors would want to meet lol

I spent today tracking Krayts at the graveyard for two groups (both of which were really good about it even though one group was Imp and the other Rebel). If you are not a Ranger, simply running/driving/galloping along the north lip of the canyon will bring you the Krayts you want. Every spawn we had spawned on or just beyond the edge, and we had a lot of them.

As an aside, it was really nice to have felt needed as a Ranger. That, and the fact that Tatooine carnivore meat had all stats 970 or above made it a good day to hunt. I just wish people wouldn't come screaming up to the High Tech Field Base thinking it was a new type of spawn......
