So I was returning home and some clown is spamming at the Coronet starport. Well, more than one clown, but I decided to go visit his shop.

He was selling a Rescue +3 skill tape for 20k or somesuch insane number. I didn't notice that I needed help in committing suicide.

The owner happened to be there, and I told him he was peeing in the wind on that one. Said he wondered why the tape had been there for weeks with no takers.

No, I didn't buy it.... smartazzes.

Hehe, it is safe to say he will never sell that.

I set my pet on the mob then use /rescue and the mob attacks my pet.

Lol. I wonder if they have ever visited a tailor. +16 Camo/Maskscent is not uncommon for under 30k.

That's probably because the rescue only really works if the one you are trying to rescue stops attacking (peace).... Even by spamming your pet to follow it is often hard to make him really stop attacking because with each hit by the mob his attack is reactivated automatically.

Even with live players this command seems way too difficult to be of much use.

I have seen +1 rescue tapes on vendors for 200k and up.... I don't think the people really understand how bad the skill really is.

Max is +25, so he's wasting 10 points.

I gave all my terrain negotiation tapes to a jedi friend. I had a +7 and a +5, and with all his other tapes, he's at +35 now I think.

Now he can *almost* keep away from bounty hunters on hills.
