Thread: (OT) Personal Starship Names/ Squadron Names

Not like im excited or anything 
But with JTL around the corner, I was curious as to what a creative group like rangers have thought of for their personal starship or squadron names.
Why ask the rangers? well... it seems that we're a creative group of people who's opinions and ideas I like and often take to heart.
B-wing fighter
"Artemis' Arrow"
YT-1300
"Heliomancer"
Squadron Names
"Meridian Rangers"
"Arch Angels"
Nothing serious, but I was just curious as to what we were planning on

X-wing: Pursuer-7
YT-1300: Conveyer-7
As for a Ranger squadron? hmmmm... Antharian Navy Squad would be too cliche maybe, or Green Seals, I dunno hehe... not great with names, as you can see

My guild recently changed its name to Shadow Force Squadron so I guess I don't have much choice there.
.As for my ships, I'll probably have one of:
A-Wing: "Sting", "Dart", "Dragon's Tooth", "Peregrine", etc (something smallish, fast, and sharp/powerful)
Lady Luck: "Alhambra", "Nirvana", etc (something that should be comfortable and beautiful)
The actual name will probably depend on color options and such and my mood at the time I name it. I just hope I can get a nice crate of brandy for the christening.

Light Hutt Fighter: The Lost Ranger - I always have this name
YT-1300: The Solaris
Lady Luck 'Yacht': The Velvet Revolver - my favourite band, plus sounds like a great passion waggon name 
Havnt thought about it but a couple of these could be my main option. Oh yeah im having an alt go reb and my main privatier so take no notice of the ships.

or maybe something more spacy? The Lucent Slide, The Tapering Infinity...
or maybe something more Rangery?

I'll probably make up my mind when it comes down to the sticking point. And then by the time I am sick of my newbie ship I will have thought of something better.

My A-wing is going to be called Vingilot. Some of you may know where that's from.
As for my multi freighter, I dunno yet.

The yachty thing? "Don't Shoot Me"
Anything else? "Don't Shoot Me I", "Don't Shoot Me II" etc

Guild is named after the 160th Special Operations Aviation Group - so we will continue to be the "NightStalkers"
Personal ships - A wing - Mad Dog (which was my call sign in another unit)
The freebie - Tinker's Damn
(trivia point if you can name the book and author that comes from - always liked that name)

To actual have your ship in the datapad with its given name would be nice but beside the point here. It's bad luck to go aroundin an unchristened ship so you should name it wether the game stores the name or doesn't. I don't know which ship(s) I will have but when I decide a name will come to me.

My YT-1300 I'm going to name the Revenge. Can anyone guess what movie that is from? I'll give you a hint: it's the same name as the ship of a certain dread pirate.
My TIE variant (probably the Advanced) will be named Dragon's Fire.

My personal vet ship will be "The Heart of Gold". My YT-1300 "Mostly Harmless". I think i'll talk the felons space squad into "Vogon Constructor Fleet"
