this is why rangers charge for finding those.. it takes a long time of exploring and looking to find the right areas, spawn patters and learning how they spawn..
you can easily find the same information using search on the forums tho, so good luck

I haven't actively done the quest for myself yet so I can't tell you exactly where to start, but I know I do most of my tracking for pirate and moisture farmer north of eisley. I'll try to find my grid that I set up later tonight when I get online.
Edit: Oops, calc beat me to it. Thats the post I used to form my search grid I believe.

THere is a post about the Hero's quest in the Game Guide forum. That has many, many, many waypoints for sightings of the various Quests. I used those waypoints to make search areas for each Quest...

There are many web sites that list some of the most common waypoints for these spawns which you can use as a starting point. (Google: swg hermit quest)
However, I noticed a change in their patterns three weeks ago, and this is something that no site will give you. You'll get a feel for this stuff when you start tracking them. You'll know if SOE changed their spawn area, if it's wider, or if they're following a specific pattern.
I strongly suggest you track them by using the waypoints on the net as starting points and learn their patterns. This will make you a great tracker, and give your customers a sense of confidence that if there's someone who can find the bastids, it will be you.
Hope that helps.

okay I know I'm the wrong Bothan to say this, but...
Personally, I'd start by spelling where with an H.
(look at the name of the thread)
yes, it's off topic, but I earned the right to do that during the "Mr. Chocolate Bunny" war of um....2004.

see I have a way out of it:
I'm an avid skier..I love the snow. There is a company that makes skiing and snowboarding clothes called....Phenix.
so I'm stealing THEIR name...not the mythical bird or that crazy city.
