How about adding creature mitigation 1 at novice ranger and 2 at master? it would work just like the other mitigation skills but will only reduce damage from creatures(also stacks with melee/range mitigation). Or mayby add a creature toughness?
Thoughts?

I have always loved the idea of having a Creature Damage Mitigation of Creture Toughness (CT being the better choice, probably). I have pitched both to the devs in the past and I am anxiously awaiting any news that they will implement them
.

That would be A-OK to me. I'd love to see all kinds of big things to our little profession, but my hopes are the little things to come, such as creature mitigation. I don't hunt with armor and buffs, and I think this would be fantastic for the instances when I get cought between a rock and a hard place.

I saw creature mitigation and thought you were asking about buying mitigation bankcredits to offset impacts to local fauna due to your proposed multi-family development.

Yes, bring forth the creature toughness. And perhaps a few more tasty tidbits lurking in the foliage that we might chew to alleviate the effects of natural (as opposed to synthetic - read NPC and PC delivered) poisons and diseases.

From what I've heard, the Combat Balance will be removing damage mitigation (although this still might change).
Either way, toughness is better. The majority of creatures only have a damage range of about 10 points anyway (like 590-600 damage). This makes mitigation all but worthless. Toughness, on the other hand, will work on anything. 50 creature toughness means you take 50% less damage. Such a skill would be invaluable.
