It really made my day cause I hate the little buggers that mess up my garden and multiply like blurrgs.
Well, I was out hunting marauders on Endor, trying to find another illusive powerfulskill enhancing attachment I can put in the bank and forget about.. all I found was this roughpurple jacket with +10 alertness
Anywhoo, on a wim I do an areatrack for players as I'm needy for human companionship and curious if there is anyone else in the godforsaken land of unskinable cuddly bears and evil gorax's.
'lo and behold, 150m away a player character is found.. So, I mount my little swoop and charge in the general direction.
I catch a brief glimpse of someone waving around what could only have been the legendary lightsaber, weapon of the abyssmal silly jedi. I say glimpse, because the MOMENT I arrived with my Master Ranger tag, his swoop appeared out of nowhere and he was OUTTA THERE
. He didn't even finish killing the boar, and I had to put it down to end its suffering.
Damn jedi scourge..
What gives? I though there would be at least a 15 second delay before one fell out of the sky?
Anywhoo, since I saw him, his name is probably on the bounty hunter, bless their hardworking souls, list of fugitivesright about now right?

Jedi on term have a trend to havecrate ofVehicule deed in the backpack.
When you use the deed, you don t have to wait the 15s, the vehicule appear right away.

Considering I find work helping Bounty Hunters zero in on their targets because droids aren't as exact as /areatrack and /areatrack isn't effected by the logging exploit, he's got a right to fear you. He can't be sure if there is a bounty hunter right behind you.
I know most Jedi on my server should be watchful for me... because I love helping BHs do their work.

Hehe - what I do when I come across a jedi and I'm feeling mean is type "r found him! come quick!" -- note that I don't put a slash in front of the "r" so it looks like a mistell. This is a lot of fun to do right before the shuttle arrives at one of the endor starports.

Well my Ranger has been a BH. So here's what i want to do when i see a padawan out in the open ruining my game.
"Jedi Im here to kill you. Its just business"
Pull out R3 named "Jedibigboombot" yell "Follow!"
And see how long they force run for. Im not a BH and its not a boom bot

The reason i said my Ranger was a BH. Was that when you yell this the jedi will scan you and see "master marksman, Master scout, master ranger". And really really get worried
Of course right now Im a 0/2/0/2 Fencer/CH/Ranger who doesnt have time to level up because my grenadesmith/AS half is just to busy keeping stock

Hmmm. Well, as long as you swear it was in self defense.
Now I'm racking my brain to come up with a valid reason to make a post titled 'no jedi, no cry.'

The doc, a newbie toon and me were sat in camp near a player town on Tat. The doc and I had our begging lights turned off and weren't searchable. We'd had our fill of fun with demented /tellers for one session.
Theres a huge bang in the valley and, looking down that way, there's most of a speeder smoking its way up the hill about as fast as I can run uphill. Sort of stooges round the edge of camp a few minutes and then the rider /dismos and wanders in. ots of flashing lights from disease and more black bar than a nekkid nuke miner would get.
Usual round of hullo, nice camp, wow does this crafting station really work? While this is going on I can see matey's head flick towards each of us in turn as he /exams our profiles.
"oh sh!t" he says. "You're BH's?" and he's off out of there as fast as his little legs could carry him. We have agood old laff realsing he's seen that both us old timers have got master scout/marksman badges and he's put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5, pop our begging lights back on so as to avoid any similar misconceptions.
Barely 5 minutes later an honest to goodness BH comes screaming up in his shiny AV21.
Random leetery leaves us in no doubts that this is a BH for us to pheer.
"Ranger trak a person for me"
"Who you looking for?"
"Oh, its just an npc, for a mission thing, his names *******"
Yup, it was the panicked jedi gonk from earlier.
I ask if he can't use a droid? Apparently they don't work, the dev's nerfed them cos the jedi complained. "Just do that tracking thing from ranger"
"nope"
"*u(x j00!! Why not?"
"I don't track jedi. Personal reasons."
This has got him more than a wee bit puzzled. I'm not impressed by his uberleetery, I don't hate the jedi. I've got a dumb, immobile novice toon following me around....
Amongst the stream of acne and spittle that came flying off him in the next few minutes we were able to work out that he'd used his Investigative Powers and now thought that either me or the novice were 'the other toon' or a jedi. Last I heard he was going to report me for exploiting. Something about hiding a jedi or letting him hide im my camp. Wonder where he thought he could be hiding? One of the tents perhaps? Under a table?

Uberleetery?
Anyway, I think it is the fact that they did kinda screwed the droids, and since a Ranger can track players, we are coming more popular to have on either side.

My in-game husband used to do that a lot in Coro when Jedi were just starting to become frequent sightings. He would walk up to the Jedi and just stand there quiet for a little while. Then he would pull out his bot, tell it to follow the Jedi and run away.
It was mean, but it was a good way to make the buff lines a lot shorter.
Edit: Okay, I just have to add that every single time I notice this post I can't help thinking "...but I did not scare the deputy..."
