Hey gang,

Alright, I've heard alot about like cowboy hats and so on for rangers. I think that is a great idea, but something struck me while watching Ep II.

I think there should be Ponchos that can be worn over armor. If you watch Ep II deleted scenes, you seen Jango wearing a Poncho over his Mandalorian armor in one of the scenes. I think they should put this into the game.

Like, a Poncho couldbe a loot schematic possibly, and when crafted, gives ranger mod bonuses. So it would allow Rangers to wear a full suit of armor and still recieve skill bonuses like our BE clothing does. It would also be an awesome look for a ranger. I vision the poncho like a good ol'wooly one that you always see in old western films. It could have a couple different patterns that a tailor could craft on it too, such as a camo design or a jagged line across the front and back. The colors would be semi-dull I think too, I'm thinking more natural colors, like browns, greens, some grays, etc. The patterns could get more colorful though.

What do ya think? One problem I've already thought of is clipping, you'd probably see the armor through the Poncho, but I'm sure they couldfix that, couldn't they?

Poncho would have to take up the same slot backpack and bandoliers: chest 2. I don't see a problem with it though...

If it could be done, it would be awsome.

This idea, quite frankly, rules. I'm a huge fan of sergio leone westerns, and I play my character pretty much as though he were straight out of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Just a guy finding his path, trying to get that big score, and the civil war is both in the background and sometimes in the way. Sure, I enlisted, but not for ideological reasons.

A poncho, specifically for rangers, would be the coolest thing ever. Hell, I'd might consider dropping TKM for pistoleer if I had a poncho. On a related note, I've wanted a sombrero for my wookiee ranger/rifleman bandido for some time now.

A ghillie suit (not sure if that's right either) I think was conceived as a field garment to assist fighting creatures. This poncho could be a more everyday clothing thing, maybe look duster-ish.

Why not a reversible poncho that, with some minor folding and untucking, becomes a ghillie suit? Oh, and it shoots lasers, too. Awesome!
