well i managed to master tk yesterday and i can honestly say, it beats commando and bh hands down (after mastering all three i can make wild claims), i used to hate tk's when i was a commando when i thought i was all powerfull, but wow, tk is just the best profession ive done, im in love

Agree. I started TK about a week 1/2 ago. I've dabbled in a lot of ranged professions and none of them can rival any skill in brawler (as far as fun is concerned).

Just wondering what you fellow rangers thought about changing from my current template to

Master Rifle (current)

Ranger 0-0-4-0 (current)

TK 4-0-0-0 (for meditate and pwr boost) OR pike 0-0-4-0 (for block increase )

or even something under the medic profession?

and ill still have 12 pts left to distribute

any thoughts?

Unlike the previous poster's suggestion, master meditation is just as good as TKM meditation. TKM meditation only allows powerboost to last slightly longer and for wound/poison/disease healing to occur slightly faster. You are better off with meditation than Pike for block increase since that increase only means you'll will get 50% less of the initial damage, occassionally. Use intimidate on your opponents and you can get a 50% decrease in damage all the time that they are intimidated.

Kettemoor: Underdog (Badass Bothan B-Boy)- Master Musician

Block is pretty broken anyway for pike, so don't bother. plus, you can't hunt unbuffed as a pikeman, its impossible. TKA can, and unarmored. pike has low toughness as well, so you are not goingto tank like a swordsman or such.
