Thread: Carrion Spat spawns

I haven't seen these as missions and am looking to harvest a good amount of avian to sell.
Mainly, I am just area tracking.
Does anyone know where on Corellia that spats spawn more predominantly?

I hardly ever go to corellia any more, but I used to see a lot of spats in the area south of doaba guerfel and west of the gold coast (gold beach?) area. Regular carrion spats, and plenty of giants, too. Also, don't hesitate to take a second to wipe out durni lairs and what-not; the less there are of things you don't want, the more chance there is of stuff you do want spawning.

you might also check the area around the hidden rebel base, i've spotted large groups of carrion spats there

I found plenty of Carion Spats around the Rebel Hideout (it's a POI in your datapad). The Gulginaws are avian as well and they are around the same area. Rasps are plentiful in the Agrilat Swamp area too.
I just hope the spawn rate hasn't decreased in the same way that other creatures have when their resource becomes really good.

On Bloodfin, there are always spawns in my secret spot.. well sort of secret 
just go NE of Bela Vistal, into the large mountain across the river from there. tons of natural spat spawns. lairs as well.

On Tarquinas there are lots of natural spawn about 1000m east of a line between Coronet and Doaba G... (sp?). Along the rivers there about halfway between Coronet and the sea. I've been in search of Corellian butterflies (I HATE the damn things, but Corellian insect meat is at 275cpu right now) and seem to find lots of carrion spats when I'm not looking for 'em...

but.. but... if they did that, there'd be no reason for all those bothans to die
OK, back to Carrion Spats and their big buddies the Giant Carrion Spat. Somebody already mentioned my favourite place for them, walking eastish from C-net, about 500m inland from the coast, theres usually swarms of them as soon as you get past the houses. (Bria)
(Wouldn't you just like three pieces of that coated in a secret coating and served up in a bucket with fries?? mmmTasty!)
