I got a taste of master ranger over the weekend and i must say HIGH TECH FIELD BASES ROCK!!!! I was MCH/MR and 0/0/0/3 rifleman and loved it. Man I just caint get over how cool those field bases look.

Its addictive and it would be better if they actually had some meaning. But yes thats part of the reason I'm doing it again. Yesterday i got back to frontieering II and was able to use the normal Field Base Kits and forgot how much they looked. Plus you can see them for miles around

They are awesome, hehe, and they work too

stick one up on Dath, go afk and you are perfectly safe, nothing will agro you.

Find the tallest pointiest hill you can and stick one on top, if you are lucky it won't flatten the hill, and the camp looks amazing.

The HTFB camps are somewhat useful, if only for improving your camo kit crafting. You only get about 4 experimentation points, though. That's equal to one in a city. It would be great if the crafting station in the camp worked as a private crafting station. I think I get about 11 experimentation points on my +42 at home.
