Thread: Semi-Goodbye (for a lil' while)

Whoops, made an error-- empty message.
Anyway, I'm saying goodbye to the internet for a while (no I have not gone crazy). I've taken a leave of absence from college for a little while, due to a few issues w/ finances and family junk, so I'm actually moving out west on Friday. I'm headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming 'cause I like skiing and not seeing other people (except Rangers). Because of that, i'm going to be without internet access for a little bit. It'll take me about 4 or 5 days to drive out there and a little while to find a place to live (hopefully w/ a roommate who already has broadband internet already installed) so I don't know when I'll be back online. Actually, I'll be back on the forums as soon as I get there, since they DO have a public library with internet access--but I doubt they'll let me instal SWG and JTL on one of their machines.
anyway, wish me luck, I'm going out to the land where REAL outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen live, so I'll come back with a much more accurate sense of what Rangers should be able to do. hehe. I assure you this will make the Outdoorsman 3 a much MUCH better proposal.

Sorry to see you go Phenix, but I hope everything works out for the best for you. Real life stuff has a pesky way of interfering with SWG! Good to know you'll still be around on the forums occasionally, though. Good luck with everything and have a safe trip out!

We'll definitely miss you here on the Ranger boards, hopefully you won't be without the boards for too long!
But have no fear we'll keep the Campfire burning so you can find your way back.
Even if that's the only functionality we can get out of the blasted camps.
Enjoy yourself.

I shouldn't be gone that long guys...probably just a week to ten days. but hopefully, I'll be on the forums in less than that.

Hmmm....you know I live in Wyoming right? Jackson is only a few hours away! Good luck out here. You will never want to leave once you get here! (BTW, Jackson is WAY too expensive

oh and for all of you who were worried-- I already have a cowboy hat.
It's bright green and orange and say "Happy Mardi-Gras '01"
I think I'm going to blend right in...actually I do have a real cowboy hat and yes,I am bringing it. along with my duster and six-shooter.

And looking forward to the RL influenced Outdoorsman as well, although they have been very good anyway!
