I was wondering whether anyone knows the most efficient way of getting loads of Wooly Hide. I will be making an architect soon so I figured I might just as well start stocking up on loads of wooly hide.

From looking at the creature database on SWG Creatures it seems that Mantrigue Screechers and Gurrecks are the way to go. The fact that they both spawn on Endor only helps as master furniture requires Endorian wooly hide. I was wondering tho whether anyone knows any hotspots for these creatures, similar to Rancor Valley on Dathomir. Or even, whether I should forget about them as there more efficient ways to gather wooly hide (?). Because right now it seems that when I take missions, I can get about 150 wooly hide per harvest from the mant screechers. As for gurrecks, there dont seem to be missions for them (not for the regular ones anyway).

Any help and/or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Crazed gurrecks are a 6k mission on the terminals, barehanded. Do not equip a weapon. You will get closer missions.

I used to be able to knock out 4 of these bad boys on one set of food buffs. What took the longest was finding two in the same direction.

They DB, but on Endor, what doesn't?

About 100 hide per gurreck, but way easier to kill than mants. 3k xp for weapon, 1k+ for harvesting.

The cats see me coming, they all run. They even dislike my droids.

Crazed gurrecks are easy to find yes, but I was referring to the regular gurrecks with difficulty level 50. Crazed gurrecks only seem to drop ~50 wooly hide (master ranger, without droid or veghash) as opposed to the mantrigue screechers which drop ~150 wooly hide (master ranger, without droid or veghash).

there was a shift of wooly on endor on starsider with 991 OQ..... but only 97 SR so that kinda sucked... but then i killed a boar wolf and the leathery was 940 OQ 950 MAL and 750 SR.... so now i'm gunna try and get rich off that. but yes, find a good wooly shift and your set for life

When I collected 100k of wooly I set out to the north and ran from the northern outpost to the top of the map... when you walk the perimeter of the map alot there are tons of high level gurrecks and mantigrues. You can harvest tons of hides from them. Got all that without taking any missions. Just be careful tho, mantigrues hit with a nasty disease.
