Thread: Which first field bioscience 3 or wayfaring 3 and why? Please help

I just got enough xp for one or the other. I was wondering which one will help me out now or at all. I will probibly have master Ranger before the new changed go in, so i was wondering what and why i should get fist. thanks Oh yes i am master ch will one or the other help me out more first?

Basically it just depends on your immediate goals - do you want to live longer or harvest more?

I went with Field Bio 3 and 4 before Wayfaring 3 only because of the creature to hit bonus. How does the camo work anyway? Is it automatic?

I would go bioscience first. You get an advantage of being able to harvest more per attempt.
Wayfaring gives you the advantage of being able to crawl faster. It also gives you better camo but I have found that camo is bugged. I get attacked more often using camo than I do when not using it, however the Ranger community is split on this issue. But regardless of that, I can avoid confrontation using the radar better than camo can avoid conrontation.

hell, I did wayfairing all the way ta 4 before I did anything else. More camo the better. bio really dosnt matter right now.

I would try to go Wazfaring first (actually I plan this myself).
When with the change xp req. for wayfaring goes up you will be happy you trained it already.

With the new changes in exp requirements coming, I would try to get either tree to IV asap to optimize the exp you have currently. I picked FBS first because currently the extra terrain neg does nothing and mask scent is broken.

To clarify, if you haven't started wayfaring or FBS trees, concentrate on one till IV. Then start the other.

I'm concentrating solely on bioscience and need 36k more unti hunt master. Why?
1. Because that's what I do, harvest and sell resources, and I've noticed a big difference between blocks.
2. Because I don't crawl and, as far as I can tell, /maskscent it completely screwed up. If I use it, I can stand inside most red mobs and they won't bother me. I went to Dathomir to just wander around in disbelief that I could /maskscent and then basically hug rancors. So I refuse to use it until it works correctly. (i.e. the ranger designer notes and planet-specific camo kits.)
