Thread: Rangers band together!!!!
Greetings everyone, Id just like to let you all know that i just made Novice Ranger. Im looking forward to reaching master one day. Its going to take me some time because i mostly role play. Dont get me wrong though, i love to advance up through the ranks, its a good feeling when youare out hunting and not even tracking your xp when all of a sudden you qualify for a new skill. I would love to get a few rangers together and go for a hunt, so thats why i am wondering how many rangers are out on the eclipse server?
As far as my plans for hunting, well its not for xp, just to get a group of fellow rangers together and go out to hunt. Sure, we will pick up some xp on the way, and that will be a great littleside bonus. I feel you can pull alot out of the game if you live it through your character. Especially if you love star wars, i know i do! So its great to be able to go out and explore places you know and love. Im not worried about what's after Master Ranger, because thats just the beginning for me. From there ill be out to explore every inch of the planets. I don't have much time to now since im always sticking close to home, making what money i can to pay offthe maintenence on my house and extractors. Getting the Master Ranger title for me will be like a very early retirement. Just picture retiring in your prime, with your whole life ahead of you to do the things you always wanted. For me, it will be exploring the planets. I hope you all have your own plans as well, it would be a shame to see someone justachieve the title and quit. Whichs brings up another question......does anyone know what their plans are after they reach master ranger? or if you are already there, what do ya do now?
I know everyone is going to have their own opinion on the boards, and it wasn't my intention in this post to get everyone to play the way i do, im just trying to see if there are any other role players out there on the eclipse server thats up for a good hunt every now and again. If there are, feel free to /tell me or mail me, and we can get one together. Good hunting everyone!

Master Scout / Novice Marksman 3-4-3-3 / Novice Artisan 4-1-3-2 Im getting rid of some of these artisan points when i need them for ranger, as for now, i enjoy crafting on the side.
I would like to join you Inky, unfortunately I'm on starsider. When that wonderful day comes and I'm a master ranger. I'm going to be a little disappointed that I'm done with leveling a think it's my goal orientated nature. So far the journey has been an enjoyable experience. Once I get master title, nothing much will change to much. I've found a great pa which makes hunting and generally hanging out a lot more interesting. I plan on still exploring the different planets and take screen shots of my journeys, you can view them at www.graphice.com/starwars. I also enjoy helping out anyone who is new to the game. I'll continue to amass large sums of creditsand fill out special orders for hides, bone, meat, and other resources.
I made Master Raanger a while ago on chilastria server but have stopped playing until the new changes go into effect. It will peek my interest to see what effect these changes will have expecially tracking and the explorer mission combination going after better game.
I really ground it out to make it Master - I wish you the best - one word of advice - camp macro my friend.
Outside of nice looking camps and mask scent lasts a little longer - there is no difference between Ranger & Master Scout.

- I reached Master 1-2 weeks ago. It seems I'm doing the exact same thing I was doing while I was leveling. 
1) Visiting exotic locations (I love the forests on Corellia... I hope Endor will be the same when I eventually visit there).
- I've been to Naboo, Corellia, Tatooine. I've been to Lok once and intend to retrun better prepared.
- I visit the planet for a full week... That way I can stretch out the content over a longer period.
2) Hunting fordangerous creatures either for the fun of it, or for specific resources.
- I'm working on my supply of Herbivore meat right now. Man, Tatooine has a lot of Herbivore animals for a desert planet.
3) Protecting my group against Brigands
- I got into quite a fire fight against the local Tatooine gangs last night. I had my three Imperial Troopers out and we were whooping it up within the radius of three gang spawns.
- Man,it was exciting... Bullets flying, screaming and hooting, bodies falling left and right.
- I wasn't even looking for a fight. I was hunting Eopies and wandered over the wrong dune. 
4) Evading Rebel ambushes. The joys of being Overt.
- Haven't had any trouble lately, as I stay off the more travelled routes.
- But it does make things challenging trying to avoid being gunned down byPC Rebels.

- I find my experience to be more satisfying now that I'm not watching the experience monitors.
- I can just sit and enjoy the sunset, or listen to the snow crunch under my feet... Very satisfying indeed.
Alright! its nice to know that there are other Rangers out there enjoying what we do best, hunt and explore. Who knows, maybe we will all bump into eachother on the same server one day.....obvisouly with a different character
