Need some advice on a good place to hunt for a Novice Ranger/ Novice Pistoleer.

Corellia is a good place to hunt at that level. Very little there is social and many things give good xp. Crazed Durni and Bageraset missions pay well and they both give 79 scout xp a pop, plus hey both give herbavore meat which sells real fast.

Dantooine - great using maskscent to get in with pickets, bols, voritors, and huurtons. Since they love to aggro each other, use the mobs as a shield just like CH's use their pets! It's best to have two types of guns - Acid and Heat. Also, Quenkers sometimes get thrown in the mix. Just attack them as they fight each other!

This technique takes little time to master, and you will be raking in the experience!

A warning to newbs - I saw a Novice Scout running around here asking for "someone to help him with his mission". It was very annoying. I do not recommend attempting this until you have an elite combat profession, as you will do so little damage to the mobs you will hardly get any exp. Armor-piercing weapons help a lot too.
