Well could be ok if you, could track people/npc that where travelling between planets, by using terminals etc to see where the person took a shuttle, or see where he spent cash etc. But we would still possess the skill to track them if they left the cities and ran across land to elude you. Then we could work together.

So you track in cities, interplanitary travel, we track in the wild.

Good point Ireally like this idea. Lost track of a mark, hire a near-by ranger to help me out. I like the terminal part too, cuz when we get a mark we have to get his bio-signature, well maybe we could use these terminals to get ppl/npc's bio-signatures and then use the droids for a location (not approximate but ya know, like what planet and city the mark is on and near).

Now if only we made enough money topay ya, lol.

thx for the constructive post

Yeah, I think Bounty Hunters should be able to track people and players, but it needs to use a different system than ours considering a Bounty Hunters' method for tracking is more akin to investigation than it is following tracks.

I like the idea of Bounty Hunters using ticket terminals, mission terminals or any other type of terminal to find out where a mark was last seen, but once the bounty leaves civilization behind, thats when you need to call a Ranger.

I wouldn't restrict it just to terminal searches either. Maybe there could be a few shady NPC's spread throughout the cities that a Bounty Hunter can go to to get info on where a mark was last seen?..

I would love the chance to interact with Bounty Hunters. that would make for some great interdependancy and roleplaying.

Don't care one way or the other personally.

The primary guild of BHs on my server/planet is on my fecal list at this time. They need help, well oopso sorry bout that.

I have assisted a BH buddy of mine using areatrack and it worked, found his mark for him. More of a lucky coincidence than anything else.

As to the animal tracking issue, you are scouts, there should be some tracking skill allowed, but not at the level rangers get.

I think that the BH should be able to track an NPC / PC within the city limits (maybe there could be a way for a BH to know what buildings an NPC / PC entered with a time stamp).

Once they hit the wilds - seeker droids (how ever effective they are - I don't know) and Rangers.

Then again, maybe a Master BH could find folks out in the wild... I imagine Boba Fett could find someone in the middle of nowhere...

I was just wanting to get a general poll fo what all of your opinions on this idea would be.

Would you all be against, for, or really wouldn't care if Bh's were given the ability to track down ppl and/or npc's via our tracking droids? Im not saying let every novice/newb BH dabbler get this ability but make it available to only ppl who are up to investigation lvl 3, just for those of you who dont know, 90% of the BH's out there dont even climb the investigation tree and those that do are prolly not even up to investigation 2 yet. And another clarification, I dont want the ability to track animals, because that is your domain, and I dont want to affect your tracking tree at all.

I am just curious about what you all think about the whole topic, please no matter what you think, post away.

thx
