Thread: I dropped Master and it's the best thing I've done so far.

3 days ago I got myself my firstpet ever. A Rock Beetle called (Ant).

I was a nay sayer from the start, Ihated all those people with pets when I started playing. They were everywhere and lots of times I found it plain annoying. Although I've never expressed it I felt that they needed to be nerfed into oblivion.

2 hours later I dropped my Master Ranger title, all my trapping skills (completly redundant waste of skillpoints sadly) and got Novice CH with those points. I have no idea why I waited from release till now to get a pet. I can't believe it actually why I've never gotten one before. It's so much fun having a little companion when you're out there.

All I can say now is, everyone shouldget a pet.Even if it's only a Rock Beetle or a Cu-Pa or a funny bunny.

I was already a Pistoleer but after getting Ant my combat ability almost tripled. I can kill things now that I couldn'tkill before if i wasn't willing to kite for 5 minutes. I can easily kill the creatures on advanced planets now to make the camo kits, a thing that used to cost me ages of running and kiting.

Even if you hate people with pets, you'll realize why everyone has one when you get a pet yourself. It's just plain fun.

My pets can't keep up with me. I'm doing the Ranger/CH route. I was Ranger/Rifleman, but I was having moral issues with shooting the babies. So I switched over to enslaveing the babies. Not a bad little hobby.

Verena: Absolutely agree with your post. My sentiments on the CH profession were as yours. I couldn't stand all the pets blocking the view when ever I grouped etc, etc.

With my frustration from Master Ranger having sooo much not working right I tried CH. Man, what a laugh. It's brought the fun back into this game for me.

Right now i'm 1-1-0-0- CH. But I eventually want at least 2-2-1-3.

That is going to cost me my Master Ranger status and then some.

But with pistoleer and 2 Greater Sludge Panters with me, I fear nothing!!

My feelings is that the Scout camps are more than adequate. And also the traps line of master scout if good enough.

So, right off the bat I can regain those points. Anyway, if you're bored and fed up with the state of Master Ranger.........Go get a fricken Pet already!!!!! You'll be glad you did.

So far I've tamed:

Rock Bettle.....tough little bugger

CU-PA called...Spitz.......cause he does.

Mountain Dewback(get thirsty just saying that)

Greater Sludge Panther...

All this animal talk has got me wanting to fire up SWG, see ya later...

Down boy, down. Wait get up that doesn't look right.

Yes, Dark Side is strong in this one.

I just got back from Naboo where I got myself 2 Mountain Krevols. I'm 1-0-1-0 so I'll have to wait a bit till I can use my already bought GSP. I'll tame a Mountain Dewback myself once I get training 1.

I do regret that I had to drop my Master title but in the end it's just that. A title andI freed 15 points that got me a whole lot more useful things in return.

Maybe when I have enough CH skills I'll drop some Pistoleer to get Master Ranger again but right now it's pretty much pointless.

Ya know, I was just looking over some stuff about CH... If I drop all pistol and carbine, I got enough for CH novice and a level I box... mmmmm.... leaves me still with sword and rifle.... mmmmm.....

Wa? ... where is that spooky music comming from?
