I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but there is potentially a serious bug with tracking today. I was on Dathomir hunting rancors when I pick up an ancient bull rancor (and nothing else) on tracking. I wander over to him and notice about 20 other red dots around. I have a look and see LOTS of rancors. I do an area track on animals and only the ancient bull shows up. All the other rancors that I saw were either normal or gnarled. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I was just thinking that it may be related to pets no longer showing up. As both normal and gnarled can be tamed, it could be that more than just pets are not showing up anymore. I would go on and test but I can't currently connect (I crashed and am now stuck at the now connecting to the galaxy screen). Has anyone else noticed creatures that can be pets not showing up in their tracking?

Well, I got back on and was able to try some more. It doesn't seem to be related to taming as I can pick up durnis and gubburs. Any other thoughts on why the rancors weren't showing up? I did try searching for players and people at the time and they weren't there either.

Same thing happened to me. Was on talus, and did an areatrack for the halibut only to find like 3 rasps. I walk 50m and see 4 lairs with a good 6mobs each around them...that didnt show up. Im not sure whats going on

same thing for me, I track and find only a few animals and when I walk a few more steps I see more things then what I was tracking...

I have noticed the same thing. But at a closer look what i was picking up on track was stuff i had passed not the Darlyrakes and gubbers 100meters in front eh who knows
