So what do you guys feel is the next step for the increased harvesting discussion. Does one of y'all want to right up the report? Do you want me to? Do we let it lie until we see what the darn droids mean to us?

Also, have the theads in other forums died down yet? How do we want to organize the reponse (shoule we post raw numbers or just link to those threads?

Best bet is to see what the droids bring us B/c thats what TH would say. It makes sense to the devs.

Personally, I think that just letting the Devs know about the threads might be enough. Just give them a link to the threads saying that this is what the other professions think about a harvesting increase (along with a synopsis saying that most professions would like to see the increase). But then some people might prefer a more active approach. I really don't know. What do you think would be most likely to make the Devs take some action? Maybe we should ask Delta what he thinks (as he has seen the way the Devs react a bit more to stuff)?

As for the threads, Artisan and Smuggler have mostly died off. Artisan barely started (but how many people actually frequent the artisan boards...). Smugglers thought we were asking to have it added to their revamp but warmed up a bit once it was clear what we were doing. I don't think bumping either will do much. Smugglers don't care enough andit was on the first page of theArtisan boards for over a week without bumping (shows what the traffic level is like there).

I would prefer us to focus on our outdoorsman proposal more. I would especially like to see making out camps better be at the top of the list.

IM never HO -

Go for it Calc. See what the other professions are saying, and report, both the good and bad.

This droid deal is not gonna increase our harvest - the amounts remain the same as if I was solo, and what benefit is there, quicker harvesting - wow, like my macro takes so long. The creatures worth harvesting that you can solo you generally take on one on one, and I don't recall the last time I lost a harvest to fade out.

What's the worst they could do, status quo?

As an aside, I love it when my hunting partners notice that I have harvested a critter before it hits the ground. Between my harvesting macros being bound to the keyboard, and being a TKA, I can harvest very quickly. If I have to wait for a droid, I will lose that 'awe' factor.

Obviously I am a big fan of the Outdoorsman Proposal, but this is a seperate issue. JB as usual, beat me to the best point. The droid isn't going to have any bearing on us. All indicators are it justs harvests for us, and not any more than we would, and still gets the group harvest rate.

Calc I say give it all to the devs as well. The Combat Medic forum never got started reallyeither, although the correspondent is totally on board. Like JB said, the worst we get is status quo.

I say go with it....as already pointed out droids harvesting is kinda pointless(whats the benifit of having a harvest droid?) So take it to them right away, Most of the threads have gone as far as they are going to get without causing flame wars("Fix us first" and "I don't care about rangers"crap) Just posting them in the Forums in itself was enough of an effect IMO.....Perhaps that, combined with the support of the other corr's could get us aHotFix?

Also realy push for some direct feedback, We keep giving them top 5 list after top 5 list and hear nothing in return, positive or negative for months now. Again, whats the point ofgetting you do all the work to make the top5'sif theye don't want to give us feedback on it...seems like wasted time and resources to me. Anything is better then nothing, weather it be a simple, "We don't have time for this righ now" or "this won't work in the current system"....ect

Yep...

run with it Calc... 99 percent of the forum responses were very favorable, especially in the armorsmith forums.

oh, and i am just a little tempted to get a trap throwing droid...kinda funny watching an r2 droid follow me while I take down critters

BE's are still talking. What is needed is your other Correspondant pals to pony-up and make a stand as well (on that forum you can see but we can't perhaps? ). I think the devs still can't hear above the "noise" yet.
