Ok, after a week doing busy work on other toons, and a weird weekend on TC-Bria I was more than a little gamed-out. You CAN get too much of a good thing, y'know
So I took 'ken up to Dath tonight for a little no-brainer hunting. Just headed out with a mate to get malklocks. Harvest hides, might sell them later, dunno. Get weapon XP and some combat XP to level rifles.
Oh but it was therapeutic.
The old malkies just stand there, let me blast seven colours of shoosh out of them, eventually a couple will decide enough is enough and come do the Bigfoot Stomp, but HA! I'm uber, I'm using a low level buff from our novice doc, ubese jacket and a bucket of brandy. (Silly me had left the CRATES of traps in the Lodge wheere am setting up a Ranger Vendor.. yeah, what can I say)
My team mate, a carbineer, is killing himself with specials, I'm just stood there blasting away like there's no tomorrow. The world filled with big smelly dead beasties. I harvested like a loony. And still my HAM bar barely flinched.
Came back with a nice haul of hides, sniping IV and a couple of other boxes ready to train.
OK, so I got killed in the end by a NS something or other. She jumped us while I wasn't paying attention, used that filthy Force on me and made me fall down blind and dizzy. peh.
But oooh, I had a great time, lol.
Soon as the plot/storage changes hit in I'm getting rid of that storage vendor, dropping the merchant line and as much of the business line of artisan that I can, then I'll be very, very nearly master Ranger / master Rifles. (I'll have the xp, just need the SP)
Happy Ken

I've been stuck in the life of a reasonably successful crafter. Chauffeur has run my life. But i missed my Ranger especially after remastering him. So I warned my guild that Chauffeur wasnt going to be crafting for a week and got my Krayt Mabari suit out (no joke) grabbed my Gaffi stick and decided to do some unbuffed hunting to practice whatI preach. And I was happy to be playing the game again. I was testing my limits against creatures seeing what kind of harvests i could do.
Being a crafter means having a to do list. Being a Ranger means doign what you want when you want.
So now im leveling up TKM over Fencer (sorry rifles i just like being a brawler) and playing with traps now. I've learned the power of glow-wire especially for a brawler. Things fall a lot quicker with the help of one. But everytime i log Canon in i know its going to be a game and not a chore
