Ranger Archive

Well, yesterday was one of the best days I have had on this game after about 4 months, and it was all about using my ranger abilities. I am getting ready to leave for work so excuse any typing errors. The day started as any other had for the last week. In space, I have been trying to get piloting xp, which I noticed takes about as long as gaining survival xp. Anyway, I decided to head to the ground, when some of my guildies start popping on. One asks if I had finished the Here of Tat quest yet, and I said no, just the bh part. So we decide to go to Tat.

Start looking for the pig, and second waypoint, track, animal, bam! Wild Bladeback Boar. We run up, kill it, it respawns, kill it again and we both have our badges. Next on the list is the moisture farmer. We head to Entha....and whats this, acrap load of imps. Now I have been ready about the upgrade to their combat, and I warn my guildie of this. He is a TKM Wookie, and decides these imps need a spanking anyway, and we get spanked instead. Cloner. Getting ready to take our revenger on the imps when another of our guildies pops on and decides to join us.

We three buff, and head back out to find those imps. Area Track, People.....An Old Man. I relay this information to my comrades and the new arrival, a Zabrak, aboutcraps his pants. I tell him where and we run up and find him. The Old Man tells the Zabrak that Mallichae is waiting for him. So we stand around and mull whether the three of us can take him on...A Mon Cal Ranger/MP, Wookie TKM, Zabrak TKM...It is decided when need someone else. We ask another Guildie if he would help and here comes the new Jedi of the Guild. Ok we can take him on.

So we head to the coordinates and find a camp. Since I was the only ranged combatant, I snuck around using mask scent and camo and took out the pillars. I think it work cause noone attacked me until the last one and I was rushed by 20 sith thugs or whatever. Luckily, my friends decide it is time to pop out of hiding and save my arse. Ok, so we kill all the Sith thugs, I make a camp, we regroup and heal and decide it is time to go after Mallichae.

We rush in, the Jedi is getting spanked, and I decide to rescue him, so he doesn't loose xp. I spam rescue which seemed to confuse Mallichae, because he kept turning in circles, coming to attack me, then one of my comrades would hit him, and he would turn back and attack me, and over and over. I don't think he hit any of us for a good 5 minutes, and then the next thing I know I am dead, must have got tired of me jumping up and down and whacked me with his uber force power. That was enough though, because in the next few hit he was dead. Yeah! My friend is now a jedi. And the ranger is dead. Oh well all for a good cause.

I spent the rest of the day looking for the moisture farmer and pirates with some luck, but there is was a glitch....but that is another story. See Ya All!!
