Thread: Spawn Question

I'm tracking for a Jedi, he needs two Graul Marauders, or so he says, one person says they spawn on Dantooine, another endor, can a fellow ranger clear this up for me so I don't go completely insane. Thanks

they are most frequently found 500-2500m south southwest of the imperial outpost on dantooine, you might check swgcreatures.com for some other siting waypoints. I searched over 15hours before I found them, I think to have them spawn may require a jedi's presence, not sure, but have the jedi run around and kill every graul in that area while you look especially the ancient and frenzied grauls. This apparently helps trigger a spawn. GL and I hope you are getting paid a LOT of credits to do this, it can be an incredibly arduous and unrewarding task.

And while the Jedi beats on grauls, you can help fight, from a distance. Remember to harvest too.
Silly Jedis pay me to get XP and hides.

As I posted in another thread - I only track for guild Jedi - Guild pays me, and I keep loot off of what i spot. I have two premium pearls thanks to that policy. Great shelf pieces, I must say. And a nice Krayted DE-10 too. Gotta love them Jedi.

Thanks for the help, I suddenly get the feeling that the 200k this Jedi is willing to pay me is waaaaay too low for a pair of Graul Marauders.

I've been offered a million credits for tracking them. When I have found them, Jedi were not nearby. Two will usually spawn at the spot, one after the other.
When charging for this, remember that it is costing your most precious commodity, time. Time is why I switch my tag to swordsman when I'm on Tatooine.

I usually choose TK expert, but sometimes I forget and leave my tracker tag up. Frankly I'm starting to feel like taking a break from tracking and offering my services at all for awhile, I have an aspiring armorsmith who sent in an order for 20k of Tatooine Bristley hide and he needs it by tomorrow, and I have medics demanding, not asking for meats, then there's the Jedi who as soon as I log on I get "have you found the marauders yet?" I'll do it for guildmates, but I'm going to take a breather from the general publicbefore I strangle someone.

I came to the same decision a while back. It's been nice, though I did find the pirates for someone the other day. But yeah, after a looong and fruitless graul marauder hunt, I needed a break.

yeah, I hit tatooine with my tracker tag up and everyone starts sending me tells, time to let other rangers earn their keep and hunt the infamous graul marauders, I guess I should keep the room with rubber walls available for all the rangers who try to find them.

My favorite Tatooine request came when someone wanted me to do it and said we could help each other out. When I asked (out of curiosity) how he could help me track down everything, he said, "Well, I'd protect you from creatures."
Out of curiosity, why are Rangers perceived as weak? Is it because we can "only" have one elite combat class? I don't mean to hijack the thread; I started out sharing and ended up ranting. My apologies.

no need to apologize, that's happened to me as well, then I bring up my TK tag and break out my composite and they think twice

yes 1 mill is what i charge for jedi trial tracks cause they are so time consuming and all they do is ask "so have you found them yet?". like we wouldnt tell them so we could get paid
