When you examine a creature what kind of creature information do you see?
Do creatures still have resists?
If they do, and you have a kinetic/melee wepone equipped and you are facing a creture with high kinetic resists does it con higher than a creture with low kinetic resists of the same level? (or check using energy resists)
I am really curious about these points and I don't think I will be high enough level to check them out myself any time soon.
Thanks!

Hey Paks,
You actually don't need ranger to see the creature resist info (or at least didn't pre-CURB). That was always available to anyone even without scout. Here's the details of the creature knowledge skill pre-curb.
Honestly, I haven't seen resists on anything yet.. Maybe I'm not actually looking enough though, or I've just been around too many low level mobs.
That's a good question about what type of damage dealing weapon you have equipped though. I'll post if I notice anything.

He didn't know for sure, he just mentioned something about character information going to the server.

Ya, I was hoping someone in the CU could tell me what it is there. We are seeing vast changes to creatures and I don't think anyone really has a handle yet on how their innate stats like resists or armor translate into level/con or even if they do. Or even if they are still there or viewable to scouts.
Using the right weapon on the right creature was part of my hunting strategy pre-CU. While testing I am finding that some creatures/npcs of the same level and con are different to others. This may be due to bugs, lack of attention on my part, or it may be due to some information that is "invisible" to us, such as resists or armor rating that is not reflecting in the con.
Maybe the best way for me to test this is to get with a BE, if any have got up that far, and have them make pets with different resists to duel. Or a quick trip to the Endorian dessert.

Well, I think the target's level has to do with your personal combat level and not what type of weapon you're using.
I'm level 7 or 8... 4003 marksman.. but if I unequip my SG82 and go unarmed (0000 brawler), the CL of the target actually stays the same.
So, even though I had 0 SP in brawler (0000), a womp rat was blue (level 4) to me because of my "combat level 7" gained from marksman. It took a long time to kill it, but it wasn't doing as much damage to me as it would if I was 0000 brawler, 0000 marksman, combat level 1 (or 0).
Another thing I've noticed, as far as creature knowledge.. The following have been removed from the scout box:
Ferocity Level (numbered)
Armor Rating (medium, heavy, etc)
Deathblow (yes/no)
I'm going to update my creature knowledge info list post-curb, after things get settled.. but at this point, it looks like no information is gained from creature knowledge from Scout Hunting III until Ranger Tracking II. I'm not sure about after that (assuming base-to-hit numbers, special attacks, and damage amounts will be shown to us).

Don't mix up the Con color with the level
Level is constant, Con is relative to your level.
Armor Rating is gone.
Armor Rating is gone.

I would assume so, sense you can also track blanked out CSR's

Hmmm... well Roscannon, who has Ranger tracking IV, got in touch with me and said that no resists or armor show up. I was going to ask a BE if I could examine one if their pets but they seem to be having issues creating pets with resists and special attacks (?) so it could be that this part of creatures has just not been put in yet, or has been taken out completely. That jives with what you saw kimi - though I would expect ferocity and DB to still be there. We should probably bug it.

What do you mean by this? Last night, it seemed to me the elite professions were still blocked in CU testing...

Lets not bring this up too much if it is possible. The riflemen and jedi will cry and get our tracking nerfed.

I believe you can now train in a novice elite profession, but only if you have grinded up that far. We have some dedicated Rangers.

I also have tracking4, and that is correct information. I was trying to make it to master but I just got too tired last night... maybe today.
