This was copied from another forum. I trust all the information in here to be accurate and well tested, so we now know for certain there is a huge problem with /conceal

I picked up Wayfaring 1 this morning to test this on Naboo. I crafted a Naboo camo kit and went to find some unsuspecting player to test this on and here are my results:
No Icon in the command brower for Conceal. I checked each tab thoroughly.
- No radial menu option on target player or my toon for applying camo.
- No radial menu option on camo kit for applying camo when targetting my toonor another player
- /conceal command results in -Invalid Target- overhead of mytoon and the message cbt_spam:[invalid_pvp_target] in the combat log
- Created a macro button with /conceal command
- targetted self and received "You cannot attack yourself!" in the combat log
- targetted another player and received -Invalid Target- overhead of my character and the message cbt_spam:[invalid_pvp_target] in the combat log
- Created a macro button with /camo command
- targetted my toon and another player and used this, both times received spam in combat log "No such command, mood, chat type: camo"
- Checked the // command listing. No conceal or camo commands listed. using /conceal will default to /concealshot

LOL
We're being phased out.
100 credits that Bounty Hunters will get /areatrack.
Anything else in Ranger that could be recycled?

I think my favorite part is when doing /conceal to yourself, the system tries to make you shoot yourself in the head. The good news is we have another suicide button to keep /rescue company.

The first days of the CU it was possible to access every skill in the game via slash commands. WildBil hypothesized that when they disabled the slash commands thy may have disabled conceal as well, believing it was concealshot. /shrug If it was confusion I am nnot going to hit them for it. God knows I tried every variant of /camo before I realized it was /conceal.

We're not "within the scope" of the CU/RotW ( the only profession not to receive work by the way... along with politician
They should leave what we have alone

Paks, the point is that there IS no /conceal in the game at all right now. It's not listed under the // list (which lists all actions that a player can do). Even if slash commands were added back into the game /conceal would default to /concealshot. My guess is that a dev did mistake it for conceal shot, thought it was a duplicate and removed it. There is a way around the fact that you can't use /slash commands (I'm not going to reveal it) and this person did test that out, and even when using this method, they found that /conceal will default to /concealshot and try to shoot yourself in the face.

It does... as they mentioned in the patch notes from sometime last week, they were moving it from a system message to the combat spam.

Sounds like just a bug, hopefully, or an accidental removal... or combo of that, some / commands not working from spatial, and the fact that it conflicts with rifle's /concealshot.
Maybe similar to the problem we had last fall, when they revamped chat channels:
the "/chat" command stopped functioning. Turns out, they changed it to "/chatroom". Even though /chat is short for /chatroom, it didn't work or show any messages at all. It simply didn't function or give an error message. /chat then became short for "/chatterspeech" (whatever that is).
Anyway, /chatroom or /chatr took the place of the old command "/chat".
Also, // has never shown the full list of commands. But if you type / followed immediately by Ctrl-Shift-Tab, it will display a list of commands starting with that letter..
ie, type /c without pressing enter, and hit ctrl-shift-tab. If it has been changed to /concealment or something like that, it would show it. But most likely they made a mistake and somehow removed it.
