I"m new to this business of selling to individuals. I have always sold on the bazaar. I'm curious as to how you drop items on someones vendor and get paid for that. I know this sounds incredibly newbie but I honestly have dealt with this aspect yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey ILiado!

The way it works is there is an option on people's vendors that say something like.. "Offer to Vendor" or "sell to vendor" or something like that. Then, you pick your item from your inventory and you offer it to the vendor. Essentially, it's like bazaar selling except there is a fixed single price and you are only selling it to one person.

This will allow you to sell to someone who isn't online at the time. At their convenience, they can check their vendors and buy when you're not online. Just like doing a trade but they aren't there.

Hey Ikoru.

I knew I could count on you. It really is funny how spending so much time in the wilderness can make you seem so ignorant sometimes.

Thanks you so much for a concise report on the matter.

Just be sure to put on some deodorant before you go inside. All that time in the wilderness could make you a bit ripe and the vendor may puke when you walk in the door.

Is this an option that the owner of the Vendor must turn on?

Or is it possible to offer items to any vendor?

If they owner refuses the offer, do you get an email stating that the offer was refused?

Can you return later and withdraw your offers if the owner has decided not to purchase them?

Great questions N'Raas... I've only ever used the offer to vendor with merchants that I know and have asked me to do so. I'd like to know how this works as well.

There is not option to turn this on or off. It is on all the time (and my 2nd char is 1 skill box frome being a master merchant).

If you offer something to thhe vendor, and later on the owner of that vendor rejects the item, you should get an email (I say "should" because I cannot confirm it). Once the item is rejected, you return to the vendor and pick it up in the Available Items area, just like a bazaar terminal.

One thing to note, the owner of the vendor does NOT receive an email telling them ab out the offer. The only way the merchant knows about it is if they take the time to check, which many of us (myself included) rarely do. I suggest that if you offer something to a vendor, that you send an e-mail to the owner of that vendor and let him know.

However, even if the merchant never cheks his vendor for offers, you are free at any time to return to the vendor and withdraw your offer; just like the bazaar.

I hope this info helps!
