Not sure if this has been thought of before...if so my flame suit is on and zipped up...

With the idea of getting these new placeable traps, and with the lure trap specifically, what does everybody think about Rangers being able to collect (either through the forage command or through additional harvest options) creature dung and/or urineto scent the traps with? Yeah i know it's kinda gross but it is realistic and would add immersion.

Also, how about using the same idea as an enhancement to maskscent? Through evolution many creatures have formed the innate ability to sense danger and do what is required for self preservation. This includes running away when they sense a known viscious animal coming their way. How about the ability to change our scent rather than mask it? Instead of masking our scent and simply appearing invisible to creatures, let them smell us and think we are a bigger animal.

Imaginerubbing Kyrat crap all over your body so creatures can smell you coming from a mile away and scatter...use a success/failure role per animal as maskscent does currentlyto decide if it worked or not. If it works, the creatures run away. If it fails, you might get aggro'd by a usually non-aggresive creature (which makes sense cause the creature might attack in self defense)...

This could also be further enhanced by being able to harvest creature pelts...add profession interdependance by getting artisans to use the pelts to make clothing/armour powerups that add buffs to maskscent, conceal,or camo...

What do you all think?

I see a few problem's with this.

Ranger's are all ready the Pack Rats of SWG, traps don't stack, camps, forage items etc.

1: Now your adding yet another to item to have in stock. If stackable like eggs or hides Cool beans.

2: If threw the forage command/loot command we would have to harvest urine/feces aka guts. Would this count toward our one hide/bone/meat list? or would it be random an lootable? If its a new forage command /forageforfertaizler?

3: If this was made like doe urine, then you should have a chance that, Mister Ikopi Stag thinks your his next girlfriend and aggro you.

Good idea's, I would rather have something applied like a lotion and add a timer of duration like spice (minus the downer)
