This sounds like a problem to me.. I think that the bigger the creature the more you can harvest, regardless of level... it shouldn't be a problem since resources shift randomly.

I was always amazed to get as much meat as I did off a little teeny Baz Nitch...

It's really nice getting 180 or so units off Voritors then only 100 off Pikets..heh.

I'm starting my own Hide and Meat superstore
and I'd like to know what's the most efficient creatures to harvest on. For instance, Talusian Bristley Hide can be harvested off a docile Kahmurra (CL 10) or a smaller Wolf Kima (CL18), which would a Ranger anticipates gives the most harvest? My experience has seemed to indicate creature level, but I wanted to get some confirmation of that.
Thanks,

It's gotta' be creature level when a giant baz nitch (about the size of a cafe chair) yields more hide than a Fambaa (about the size of a field base camp).

Baz Nitches are just glorified turkeys, right?
I agree that this is a problem, as it hurts the sense of immersion. Sure, I want to be rewarded for taking down a giant angler, but it seems like a stretch to think that it would have more meat on it than, say, an elder gualama. Or a Torton.
Here's an idea: Continue to give harvests commensurate with xp, but add a bonus based on the size of the creature. That way, we still get our reward for taking out nasty critters, but the proportions don't seem so out of whack. Thoughts?
