Thread: Mask Scent/camo bonuses

Apologies if this has been asked recently, I am a lazy person and am relying heavily on your tolerance and generosity.
How is the bonus on Mask Scent/Camo clothing calculated when I am Camo'd by someone else? What I mean is, I have Scout 4040, and I have a set of Mask Scent/Camo clothing. +25 total bonus. When I mask scent, i can expect whatevermod I get from my Exploration skill, and then also the +25from clothing.
Well, i have been told that cam is better than mask scent, and indeed the camooverrides my mask. So, if I am with a ranger and getcamo'd,does my bonus still apply?And, if the ranger is also wearing Mask Scent/Camo kit, does that modify the camo 'score' applied to me?
It is somethign i have been curious about, because skill points are tight and i have considered dropping my Exploration down to II and having my ranger buddy along for DNA sampling. Tracking isrelatively nice!

The effectiveness of the camoflauge is based on the skill of the applier. So if the other Ranger camoflauges you, the success rate is based on his skill, not yours.

The applier being camoflauged,at the time he applies the camo kit, will not impactthe success rate of your camoflauge.
