Ranger Archive

We sit in our camps waiting patiently for some help. Yes we know we have issues. Yes we know many come to our profession and become disappointed. But no we don't live under rocks. We are here because we want to be.

I commend and praise those that I see continously on here discussing ranger matters. And Nraas for his wonderful work.

It is a great challenge to be ranger-like in a very un-ranger-like world. Rangers are typically loners and solo-ist, not into groups or into cities. But in SWG the group is key. We harvest as a group more animal than there is actual animal, we sell our organics on vendors and in cities, and we fly in shuttles from planet to planet seeking the finest quality.

Underlying there is that one common ground. That one state-of-mind that make us the rangers we are. We are rangers and we are here to stay, some make go to experiment but many in their hearts still are rangers.

My biggest advice to new rangers would be get to know other rangers. Hunt with them, get in business with them, and role-play the day-light out of the character. That is what makes ranger enjoyable, not anything that SOE has done for us so far.

For those who feel it necessary to leave, please go peacefully. We don't need the evil threads of how Ranger sucks and this and that. We live it. I wish you luck and hope if you have the heart of a ranger that you will be back.

Organic vendors and a tranquil peacefulness that a city should not have but this one does. And yes we are against the outrageous organic prices! The SWG economy needs to be halted, we are becoming Russia with the rubel. (misspell?)
