I was with a group of ppl last night as we attacked a GDK in Kimo Town on Lok. Now I have fought just about every creature in the game, and have been able to land at least 1 or 2 strafe and startle shots on them all. I was pumped on Muon and went through 3 full attack queus of strafe and startle w/o causing a dizzy or stun on any of the shots. What's the deal. Are they just that powerful, did I do something wrong, or is there an imbalance here?

Not sure about hitting with dizzy and stun but I know I soloed 3 of them yesterday so they are not invincible. But no loot.

Solo'd with what? Bleeds?

I don't think you solo'd a Giant Dune Kimo, the mind disease is insane, even for a TKA/Doctor. It could have been a different kind of kimo.

A newbie with a CDEF could killanything using *Methods* like that.

I'm betting these people are talking about regular Kimo's.

I meant to mention that if our "Creature to Hit" bonus worked in such a way as to make some common sense. I would have hit it at leastonce or twice in the fight.

People can solo anyhting in the game. I can think of 2 scenarios. TKA/Doc with buffs and 70+ Kinetice Ubese Armor is a popular choice for the Krayts. THe other I know of is Master Rifleman, Master CH. Bleeds, tanks, and hope to be close to a cloning center so you can run back out if you die. It is unreasonable, but it has happened.

Well, with the help of about 10 random Rebel NPC's and a field of harvesters.

I took down an Enraged Kimogila this morning in under 40 minutes. Heh.. Took some time.

Actually, I just used /concealshot and chef food. Took a while but it's extremely effective. I used a tool the devs explicitly gave me. Admittedly, most people don't feel like sitting around for 20 minutes /concealshotting but it does work.

Edit: Just to note, this is the Giant Dune Kimo that spawns in the besieged city on Lok. This method also works on krayts, if you can be lucky enough not to get another group trying to kill steal.

You can solo anything, given the right set of circumstances, enough time, and some luck. You can kite an uber-krayt if you are really smart about it, use terrain, and a swoop, and a harvestor. Maybe a house too.

It's all semi-BS methods, and having more than enough time. If anyone wants to bet me, we get a million on the table, and a way to pay me, I will go solo a freaking uber-krayt. It's not that you can't, it's the do you wanna factor.

Heck, you don't have to pay me to solo one of them--I just can't find them. I've spent quite a bit of time looking but, without /areatrack (I really need to hurry up and get back to ranger), I haven't found a single krayt since the patch. So I ended up going after the kimo that I knew would be there. I'm pretty sure /concealshot and a few Breath of Heaven and Rhyscake is all you would need. I have yet to find a case where it wasn't enough (and plenty of pre-patch krayts regretted it).
