Hello there, one quick question.

Dose the Camo kits, and Mask scent stack?

I.e. shall a creature break both the mask scent and Camo kits before it findes you?

If not, what have the best effect on critters?

And I have to start to climb all 4 boxes in traps, what are the smartes way to do this and what are the best traps to use here. Seems I have kinda a problem finding any good use for the traps / And a last, do you get Trapping XP for making the traps?

Cheers

No, they dont stack. U cant use Mask scent and camo simultaneously. Well, not without an exploit, which I dont know.

The trapping xp is easy. U craft as much trapps as u can. Until u r full. then u look for a doctor or medic. U ask him for help.

Most of the time u have to bribe him.... Anyway, then u do that. U stand in front of a critter and thow as many traps as u have with u

without attacking the critter. The doc heals u all the time. Usually u boost trapping all the way in 2 hours, max.

Actually the best way to do it is by buying crates of traps. As the crafting is such a bore...

Good luck, and good hunting.

No sorry you cannot stack camo with mask. Although a ranger can use both alternatively but never at the same time.

Conceal works better with creature mobs and definatly with higher level mobs, although only slightly better at present.

Many members of the ranger community (including myself) believe this slight increasein effectiveness is not worth the cost and time needed to get the resources to make the camo kits. Resulting in many of us just using mask scent for the time being.

The only considerable advantage of using camo over mask is that it can be applied to other players. Although this feature in itself is not enough to justify using camo kits over (cost free) mask.

Hope that helps

oh and on your last point........... use wire mesh traps, they have no delay on slinging them, so aslong as you can keep your action reasonable youll be ok.

Will camo kits help hide from NPCs? Like imps looking to put the "smack-down" on a Rebel Ranger?
