Thread: question...master vs hunt master

is there a significant difference between tracking players, animals atc at hunt master than at master ranger?

You receive an additional 50m in tracking range.

so is it worth giving up all the rest of the skill points in ranger just for an extra 50m?

If the only thing you are looking for from Master is an improvementto Tracking, then it's probably not worth it.


450m at Tracking IV should be perfectly usable if you only want to dabble in the skill set.

i mean im only gonna use tracking for animals and the ocassional jedi for my BH buddy. so i think ill save some skill pts and go with track4....... unless im missing something here lol

If the creature you're looking for is 475m away it is!

Seriously though, as NRass said, if the only thing you're looking at is Tracking - save yourself 42 SP and don't worry about Master Ranger.

I have tracking IV, no master, and I rarely find any creatures on my screen farther away than 350m. I haven't tracked players much so that doesnt matter to me anyways. my point is, it seems like you won't find creatures that far out since they haven't spawned that far out from you yet.
