I've been told that ranger has a significant increase at master that's not reflected by the +10 shown in the master box. This is similar to the smuggler class having a serious boost in slicing ability even though there's no visibly listed increase in the box itself. I'm wondering if it's really worth going master ranger if I'm a pure harvest ranger for a mere +10 if it's only going to reflect an additional 10 or so to my harvest per. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

no,

unfortunately there is no significant increase in # of resources from tracking IV to master. It would be best spending your points elswhere.

If you're thinking about Mastering because of the bonus to Creature Harvesting, bear in mind that Chefs can make a food to provide similar bonuses.

i have found the same chefs bonuses can make people equal too master rangers in harvesting

Yes I've seen that and I use it quite frequently. It's called vagesh. The stuff I'm using right now is +31 to harvest which is very significant when used in combination with a harvesting droid. Thanks for the feedback. I've been told that there's force senstive lines one can persue that increase creature harvesting. I suppose that's what I will invest my points in come publish 10.

The Ranger bonuses currently on tc-2 is the Survival line in the Enhanced Reflexes tree. If you take all 5 boxes you will get a +5 to all of the skills that scouts/rangers can have. If it stays as is, I don't plan on training this line since there is other bonuses that are better.

yeah, but as master ranger you can take these foods aswell, so NO ONE will ever outharvest a Master Ranger
