Alright I am at Frontier 1, and yesterday I would cap after 21 min at 1024 xp for my camp solo. Today, the numbers all off, at 20min I capped at 823, and the the next camp I dropped it at 22 min and capped at 702! Anyone else notice this or having problems? Or perhaps know what is going on? Because I haven't seen any write ups about changes to rangers with this patch.

OK, silly question: You ARE using the same type of camp each time, aren't you?
Other options include: Did you have more activity (healing, crafting, etc) in you camp the first time, that you did not the second time? Activity increases the rate at which XP is accrued.

i have had this problem too. getting max xp going from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. sometimes i would happen in the same sitting. for example the first 5 camps would take 20 minutes then 6 through however many would take 30. i found that most of the time(in my experience) if i completely exited out of the game and went back in it would be fixed, or it would fix itself at server reset.

Since I mastered Ranger quite a while ago on Naritus, I could not see such things.
But I'm working my scout (to become Ranger) on Shadowfire now and I noticed variations too. I can tell that some of this difference is due to quality of camp. I've been playing with setting camps that range (when crafting) from moderate to amazing success, and I'm sure from my experiments thatthe higher crafting success, the more survival XPs you get. And lower crafted quality camps won't give more even if you sit longer.
Stealth fix/change? I don't know.

Alright yes it's the high quality camp from a crate that I produced so all my camps are the exact same. I wasn't doing anything while I was in the camp but sitting, and waiting. No guests, no healing, no crafting. mostly just afk while I was waiting. The only thing I was doing is sending tells. And well it makes no sence that a camp open for 20 min would get more xp then one open for 22min, and I have not had this problem tillthis afternoon(not even at 4am last night). And I don't really want to be wasting my camps to half baked xp for using them.

Healing, visitors, or perhaps even sitting for a better regen rate makes a difference I think. I have maxed camps quickly when I have wounds.

My solution:
Step 1: hunt rancor for one night
a) split a half (approx) of your harvests on bone
b) split the other half of your harvests on hide
c) collect about 15k of low quality metal (any type)
d) collect 5 - 6 generic crafting kits.
e) deploy a camp
f)craft camps for about 5 hours and disband/deploy camps as the cap hits.
Voila. Mastered ranger in, oh, about 7 hours from novice to master.

I'm not posting to ask advice how to make master ranger, I am posting to state I noticed an experance issue creating camps with the exact same camp style, same materials in the same spot...

Camps have a peak and when it is reached they will slowly start to lose xp once it has been reached...it was some thing to prevent people just letting their camps auto-disband and get the same xp.It was in the patch notes I believe somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd publish I believe and it was something that was mentioned in a reply by TH.
If you have the time its much better to hunt get some battle wounds going on then sit like the others said you'll aquire more xp when there is some healing, visitors, etc. going on.

I noticed this when I was doing the camping thig along time ago and could never figure it out! But, I will say that it was never the same for just me and a camp and a specifric time!! I kept a stopwatch on them and couldnt figure it out! The only real thing I had a theory on was that if it was in a more hostile climat it seemed to give more XP!!!! Its was just a theory!!
