Good one ![]()
We have yet to receive our coorespondent reply, or even know the intentions of the Ranger Dev.
It is extremely frustrating waiting ![]()

Aye, I don't mean to be sarcastic or counter-productive, but I too am frustrated by the deep silence concerning our profession.
I am a patient creature, and I realize the devs have no end of issues to address, as well as limited development resources.
However, I'm dismayed that the recent uber-patch did not address issues that have been present from Day One--recent correspondent report notwithstanding. I understand that a few of our requests require significant development to implement, but most of our fixes are on par to the order of the many profession adjustments that have already gone through.
This indicates that the Ranger is very low on the profession dev hierarchy. Many of the professions that have received significant attention since launch are already viable professions on their own. We are thoroughly broken, and need to be bumped up the priority list.
An argument can be made that we represent a smaller and less critical percentage of the player base; but as long as the Ranger continues to offer little to nothing as an elite class, we will attract few new players.
This hurts diversity in the long run (even if I do happen to like being in a minority class).

Jeesh, I know its frustrating, but if you dont like the game, unsubscribe for a few months til things get smoothed out. SOE has their hands full and they cant do everything at once. Going on strike isnt going to accomplish anything.

It was sarcasm, Camring. i.e. If we were to ACTUALLY strike, the in-game ramifactions are zero. (Get it?)
From a developmental standpoint, the squeaky wheel gets prioritized. Rangers need to squeak, not unsubcribe.

Rangers unite!
It's time to band together in solidarity and show the player base we are not a second-class elite profession.
So until further notice, the next time someone /yells "NEED A RANGER FOR GROUP HUNT!", I want you to turn away and go about your business.
This will demonstrate our-- eh?-- what's that? Nobody yells that? huh? Most professions can handle hunts better than we? Yes, but what about.. um... er....
/sigh

We need someone to post "Nerf Rangers!" That usually always get the Dev's attention. Otherwise, we'll be nothing more than advanced scout
