This must be the only planet you can fly around the whole map and not find a single creature. Man they really need to allow creature farms. Rori avian is impossible to find.

What's this? "rangers" advocating easy solutions/farming instead of dealing with the problem/spawnrates?

Shame! Shame on you! Next thing you know we'll"need" lightsabres too.

Shame!!!!

Have you even been to Rori lately?

I don't hunt with mission terminals.
Traveled some 30km tracking every 500m and didn't get a single trace.

There's some noob critters right by the starports but thats about it.

Yeah, my attempts at catching a ravenous torton are an excercise in lonliness.

On the plus side, I was able to simply point my swoop in the direction of the starport and walk away knowing that I wouldn't get attacked as I flew halfway across the planet. I managed to feed the cats, go to the bathroom, brush my teeth and get ready for bed -- when I came back I was 500m from the city, safe and sound.

Odd. I've noticed increased spawn rates on most planets on my server (although I haven't tried Rori recently). Although I do need to walk around a bit (on foot, no mount or vehicle) before the stuff starts showing up.

Sounds like the same thing that was going on with Talus a while back - evidently they were able to fix it, but you would think that spawn rates would be something to monitor. It's not like Talus and Rori are hot attractions.

Normally I wouldn't notice either but on Chilastra Rori Avian is now [PE=995, OQ=930]. Would be quite valuable if it could be reasonably harvested. Oh well.

You answered your own problem.

Get a mission from the terms. Missions spawn creatures, which in turn spawn more creatures.

On your "run" across the planet, was that running or swooping. Swoops are fast enough you often miss stuff spawned in your wake.

I haven't had this problem at all. Course, I quit going to Rori regularly after the overt squads were camping the rebel outpost hoping to grief tef'd rebels. For a 'starter" planet it's overlooked, unloved and usually unvisited.

In my cases (twice now), I was on foot the whole time until the very end when I flew back to the starport. The first time was before the POI problems were fixed, so even those were barren. I ran from Narmle to all POIs to Restuss and didn't see any creatures until I got to within about 2000m of Restuss. The 2nd time I stayed within 6000m of each city. I pulled 2 missions to spawn some stuff, but there was nothing "naturally occurring" outside of about a 1500m radius from each city.

Ya, I use a mount, pretty much all the time. Although, for some silly reason the spawns have come back on Eclipse. I wonder if this is the new hardware they were talking about. I also noticed a greater number of PCs on Eclipse on Talus as compared to other servers.

When the spawns low i just grab a couple missions like JB said it causes the server to spawn a bunch of lairs in the region. And on bloodfin a patch or so ago we had a planet go dead like that. It was really really weird.
