short answer: yes.

long answer: yes, but the method of requalifying is still unknown. i doubt it will be a respec, or it might be when you login, you will have the carbine line and cant move until you drop skills.

which would really suck for the melee rangers, as they would have to completely regrind another profession in order to remain viable.

This things always bother me so i'll ask the question even though i think i know the answer.

I am Master Ranger Master Carbs. I dont think I will have to do anything at this point when the revamp hits. Just play a new character basically with no extra grind. Is that how you all would see it?

Second, a lot of groaning is starting over the pre-reqs for the new temp. It reminds me of the CU and MCM when the defs tried to force CM to take the pistol line. They resolved it by changing the marksman req to the Ranged line 0004 in marksman. If meet what they wanted as far as skill pt usage and it allowed the CM to go up any of the ranged professions. Maybe someone with more ear pull can whisper that into a DEVs head in time to stop the bat swinging.
