UI as in User Interface...
Not many people know, but it is possible to color words or complete sentences...
For scout/rangers this comes in handy. How many of you forget when the maskscent wears off or is broken? OR just overlook the message?
Via the options screen (ctrl-o) there is an option to set chat colors.
If you put the following in the inputbox at the bottom (without quotes)
"masked scent has worn off"
then pick some color
and then either choose color words or color sentence, the next time you mask scent goes down (timer), you will see it much better on screen and in chat window.
Same goes for your mask scent being broken, the camouflage time out and so on.
IF we have more examples, post them here...

I have 'calc' colored in green, so I know when people are talking about me, or calculators.
I have a few other keywords colored, but I don't have any Ranger specific ones anymore (I used to have the stalking message in red, but the settings got reset mnay patches ago, and I never fixed it).

Wow, nice! I didn't know this.
My tip is that you can turn off "terrain" in your radar map. It's easier to find critter corpses (you know how things like to die under hills, etc...) if they are on the radar as white x's over a uniform background rather than white x's over a mult-colored background.

i used to try and color the word 'rin' becase all chat channels look the same. of course, I didn't realize that it doesnt take the [RIN] into consideration. Never changed it back. So every so often, I'll get a green message and be totally confused, until I find where the combination 'rin' was found (usually in a word like "bring")

Hmm and if you were to use servname.group.rin ?

Ya I turn off the terain on my radar a lot (Yavin much?).
I also found that stretching the radar so that it is much larger helped me out lots. It makes the "Con" check box worth wild when every thing is a bit bigger. It also helps make the "mouse hover" ID easier to use.
