Thread: Camo Kit question..
I could probably test this out but they are so annoying to make and I don't want to waste them heh.
Phunch,
They should work against all npc's. I have read that if your faction is at -5000 with any group, the npc will ignore the camo check and aggro immediatly.
ahh the -5000 glitch would explain a few things. I hope to heck its a glitch.
"Hmm I dont see you over there.. wait.. no.. I really really hate what I don't see over there and am going to kill it ... <<CROM!!!!>>"

Not sure on factional NPC I can try it out. I have run past Imps when I'm covert with no problems, so I think you have to be overt to even have the factional NPC attack you.
The camo are "supposed" to work on any NPC or animal.
"I have read that if your faction is at -5000 with any group, the npc will ignore the camo check and aggro immediatly."
Well the error is not just limited to -5000 faction opponents.
There is also aproblemwith Humanoid NPCs which aggro at distances greater than 64m.
- Since /conceal is checked at <64m... Anyone who aggros before then evades the check.

Huh? I was big time overt and camoed, walked up to a bunch of soon to be dead and did not know it Imps, gave one a wedgie, another a wet willie, while the BH with me (also camoed) was doing unmentionable things to the walking dead. No nothing. I am well past the -5000 faction for imps too. Maybe it was my lucky day, but I do it all the time.
Now the stupid nightsisters saw me right off, while I was playing tag with a rancor, and I had no faction pts with them one way or the other. Make that did not, now I not one of their favorite rangers, oops, they got dead.
I think camo worked for me, regardless of the faction pts.

the only good imp... wait, there aren't any...nm
"I was big time overt and camoed, walked up to a bunch of soon to be dead and did not know it Imps"
That lends me to believe that the error resides moreon the aggro at a distance issue, than the faction issue.
Only the developers will truly be able to tell which is causing the problem...
- With our luck, its probably a bit of both.
