Ok so I'm going Master Ranger and thinking about running up the Rifleman tree as well. Right now I'm wondering if which skill would do me the most good on the Rifleman set. I'm thinking about Intermediate Concealment Tactics to get conceal shot, but should I wait it out and go Advanced Sniping for the Headshot3? What do you guys think? Which is better for hunting? I don't do alot of PVP mostly just hunting and faction missions...Thanks in advance,

Headshot3 is really just a more mind wasting headshot2, sometimes it hits a little bit more.

Now as for rifle, the RIFLEMAN forum Suggests Its ALL or None with rifle. I don't buy it but i'm a dummy

Only Problem is that warping mobs can be brutal on ya, and with the Title of master Ranger the skill points are spread thin.

I went 4-0-4-4 in rifleman and 3-4-0-0 in Ch, Flushing shot 2 + startle shot2 + flurry shot2 all are AOE attacks with either stun + posture up or dizzy.

I have no problems in pve if i play smartly with my pets. as for pvp im just a support role.

Get Conceal shot, right now Headshot 3 is no better then HS2.

The skills you should strive to get right off the bat are Flurry shot 2 or...that other F*something* shot 2. Area effect and high damage multipliers.

Conceal is one of the Rifleman's best shots at the moment. Just try to get the best accuracy mod possible before shooting. I made a macro that puts a /aim in front of every conceal shot, rarely misses.

About the all or none for Rifleman... I enjoyed Rifleman and thought I did ok all along for my level... but the difference once you hit Master is HUGE. I don't mean for the skills (though I do love Strafe Shot 2), but the speed difference is amazing.

Theres nothing wrong if you don't want to go the whole way... but theres a very big difference.

The main problem with Rifleman is the additional melee damage taken, so unless you can kill whatever you're hunting before it gets to you, you're in trouble. Sure you can just throw a trap and run, and hope it works the first time, but your accuracy when running is horrible, and if theres more than 1 you're in a lot of trouble. I've just taken Creature Taming and Training 1 to get a Greater Sludge Panther as a tank, leaving me with 2 skill points which I just put in Ranged Support 1.

As for skills, I usually open with Flushing Shot 2 for stun, then use Strafe Shot 2. Flushing Shot 2 as well when fighting NPCs.
