Greetings fellow Rangers,

i just realized, while killing some durnis in front of our PA hall, that i had suddenly 2 stacks of corellian animal bones in my inventory. When going on killing i had a close look at these stacks and wonder, both kinds of bone were harvested from the same creatures of the same lair. some of them gave type 1 others type 2 (both in quantities of 13units).

Never seen that before, did i missed a change in resource harvesting of creatures?

Not really... This "effect" has been around since the beginning, though it does not appear very often..

Usually does not happen this way, but it's not unheard of. Someone else posted the same thing just yesterday, or the day before.

I have seen this also, think it's a minor bug.

Killing vynocks at 10 hides per, you then kill a few who are "skinny and sickly" or something and get like 1 hide, and the hide is not what you have been harvesting. Maybe this happened.

It's not a big deal most of the time, and usually happens right around a resource shift. You may have been hunting/harvesting through the shift and the bone type shifted.
